About Yiheng Investment Management Office

Yiheng Investment Management is an office interior in Zhejiang, China, with a total area of 660 square meters. The design is themed with water. Curved ceiling forms and flowing light belts link the work areas and soften the boundaries between zones. The entrance hall combines curved elements, a large round ceiling with a light film form, and an LED wall with lamp belts on both sides. Partially atomized glass divides the showroom from the negotiation room and brings in outdoor light. The layout supports free movement and also protects privacy.

The Yiheng Investment Management Office by Pengfei Hu represents a distinguished achievement in contemporary corporate interior design, demonstrating the continued evolution of parametric and organic architectural vocabularies within professional environments. This reception space embraces the legacy of fluid modernism pioneered in the early twenty-first century, translating biomorphic sculptural principles into functional workplace architecture that communicates institutional values through spatial experience rather than explicit signage or decoration. The ceiling installation emerges as the defining element, its elliptical depression suggesting both natural geological formations and cosmic apertures, the central luminous oculus functioning simultaneously as practical illumination source and symbolic threshold between earthly commerce and celestial aspiration. The designer demonstrates remarkable sensitivity in orchestrating material relationships, juxtaposing the smooth continuous curves of walls and ceiling against the crystalline precision of marble flooring, the rhythmic verticality of ribbed panels, and the delicate perforations that introduce visual porosity without compromising the envelope's integrity. The chromatic restraint, limiting the palette to variations of white and gray with a single bold black accent, suggests an aesthetic philosophy that values spatial experience over chromatic stimulation, inviting occupants to perceive subtle gradations of light and shadow rather than processing competing color information. The reception desk functions as a sculptural object within the larger sculptural environment, its flowing form suggesting both geological strata and contemporary digital design processes, embodying the synthesis of natural inspiration and technological capability that characterizes advanced parametric practice. The embedded floor lighting traces paths that echo the ceiling's curves, creating visual continuity between horizontal planes and reinforcing the sense of total environmental design. Viewers may contemplate how such spaces shape our understanding of corporate identity, asking what values are communicated when an organization chooses to inhabit architecture that prioritizes sensory refinement and spatial poetry over conventional office configurations.

Unique Properties
Compared with the clear zoning of the traditional office, the design team wanted to create a multi-spatial form that blurs the boundaries, where people walk freely and work effectively in the space of different interfaces, and this rhythmic and rhythmic change will also form beauty and imagination in people's feelings.
Dimensions & Packaging
The project has a total area of 660 square meters. The road showroom and the negotiation room are divided by partially atomized glass, which brings the outdoor lighting and extends the space vision. The road showroom combines the cascading suspended ceiling shape, ring pendant lamp, and oval conference table, emphasizing the sense of an enclosed space.

Production Technology
The curved elements in the entrance hall are interwoven in every corner of the space. The huge round ceiling is combined with the light film modeling, like a spaceship shuttling through the stars. The led background wall combined with the drip lamp belt on both sides, is like a continuous flow of information, indicating the digitalization and globalization of enterprises in the information age. Like a star falling into the earth, it illuminates and touches all who come and go here.
Design Challenge
To ensure the daily office needs, the top curve shape combined with a curve light belt in the workplace, such as river convergence, from the visual sense, the office area and other Spaces are connected. In space planning, the designer uses the reasonable division of functional area and modeling background to integrate the office area with the spatial dynamic line, which releases the space and ensures privacy to a certain extent.
Project Duration
The project was designed in June 2022 and completed in December 2022 in Zhejiang, China.
Operation Flow
The shape of the winding and flowing top light belt matches the undulating and silky wall, making people in it more like sitting on a ship ripening in the lake, exploring and sailing towards the distance in their hearts.
Research
When the Oriental language meets the modern office space, the combination of classical and modern methods far reaching. The designer uses symbols with an Eastern context to decorate the main room and the secondary room of the independent trading room, bringing aesthetics to the space, and giving a beautiful vision to the enterprise.
Inspiration
Themed with water, the space design borrows the source of the growth of all things, so that the value grows and the enterprise takes off. The spatial circulation line slowly unfolds in the form of the confluence of rivers, and the water is flexible and malleable, forming continuous language symbols in the space, creating the tranquility and flow of water in the space so that people's work behavior also unfolds.
