About Xichang Joyhub Air Hotel

Xichang Joyhub Air Hotel is located on the north shore of Qionghai Sea, which is designed to symbolize a poetic living experience. Create a garden style upscale leisure resort hotel experience in Xichang with a fusion of humanities and natural ecology. Key materials such as artistic paint, wood printed aluminum panels, stone, and wood finishes create a tranquil atmosphere, giving the hotel a unique character. Grey bricks, pitched roofs, and rammed earth walls are reimagined within the interior, where light toned finishes, neutral wooden panels, and deep hued marble create a harmonious space.

SHXDAL's Xichang Joyhub Air Hotel emerges as a distinguished contribution to contemporary hospitality architecture, one that navigates the delicate balance between honoring regional building traditions and embracing the possibilities of modern construction technology with notable sophistication. The design appears to draw upon centuries of Eastern garden-making philosophy, where the careful arrangement of stone, water, vegetation, and architecture creates layered experiences of discovery and contemplation. The twin pavilion structures establish an architectural dialogue that rewards sustained attention: one speaks through transparency and geometric clarity, its glass walls dissolving the boundary between interior comfort and exterior landscape, while its companion pavilion employs the ancient strategy of the wooden screen, modulating light and view through rhythmic lattice patterns that suggest privacy without enclosure. Between these anchoring structures, the landscape composition unfolds with the measured informality characteristic of the finest traditional gardens, where seemingly natural arrangements reveal themselves upon closer inspection as carefully orchestrated sequences of color, texture, and spatial experience. The sinuous blue pathways evoke the presence of water without its literal manifestation, creating what might be understood as a dry stream garden updated for contemporary sensibilities. The placement of scholar rocks follows principles established over centuries, each stone selected for its individual character and positioned to create moments of pause and visual interest within the larger composition. Specimen trees rising from illuminated bases transform at dusk into sculptural presences, their branching patterns casting intricate shadows across the moss-covered mounds beneath. The chromatic strategy achieves particular success through its embrace of contrast: the warm glow emanating from architectural interiors against the cooling sky, the vivid greens of living vegetation against the mineral blue of aggregate pathways, the weathered gray of natural stone against the refined surfaces of contemporary construction. Viewers might consider how this integration of building and landscape proposes a model for hospitality environments that nourish through beauty and contemplation rather than mere accommodation.
