About Nabism Human Pet Shared Furniture
The Nabism Human Pet Shared Furniture inspired by urbanization and low fertility trends, redefines human pet cohabitation via symbiosis philosophy. It advocates equal coexistence in urban spaces, meeting demand for quality lifestyles with pets as family. Integrating animal behavior science and ergonomics, it features spatial variability, functional complexity, and aesthetic unity. Modular with standardized interfaces for infinite combinations, units balance lightweight and stability through precision, enabling on demand configuration.
Yensu Creative Team's Nabism Human Pet Shared Furniture represents a significant contribution to the emerging discipline of multi-species domestic design, positioning itself within contemporary conversations about companion animal welfare, sustainable material practices, and the evolving understanding of home as shared territory requiring design solutions that honor all inhabitants regardless of species. The work demonstrates sophisticated compositional achievement through its asymmetrical yet balanced arrangement, where the vibrant orange upholstered central seating element establishes chromatic and formal emphasis while the flanking tower structures create rhythmic repetition through their arched and circular aperture motifs, producing visual harmony that suggests both architectural rigor and playful accessibility. The technical execution reveals careful attention to material properties and structural integrity, with corrugated cardboard construction that exploits the inherent strength of layered cellulose fibers while maintaining visual lightness and tactile appeal, particularly for feline users who instinctively respond to scratchable surfaces suitable for claw maintenance and territorial marking behaviors. The chromatic sophistication of the tangerine upholstery introduces warmth and contemporary residential aesthetic against the neutral cardboard ground, creating color relationships that enliven domestic interiors without overwhelming visual restraint, while the choice of natural materials and modular configuration suggests design thinking aligned with sustainability principles and adaptable spatial planning appropriate for varied living environments. This work appears to engage with Scandinavian design traditions emphasizing functional beauty, material honesty, and democratic accessibility, while simultaneously drawing upon Japanese spatial efficiency principles that maximize utility within compact footprints and recognize the importance of vertical territory in multi-species households. The incorporation of multiple access points, elevated platforms, and enclosed refuge spaces demonstrates behavioral understanding of feline environmental preferences, acknowledging that companion animals experience domestic space through species-specific sensory and psychological needs distinct from human requirements yet worthy of equivalent design consideration. The furniture assembly invites interpretation as architectural landscape miniaturized for domestic scale, where towers become observation points, apertures function as portals between territories, and the central upholstered element serves as gathering place and shared boundary between human and animal zones within the home ecosystem. One might observe how the physical presence of the cats within and upon the structure validates the design concept, demonstrating through their relaxed inhabitation that the work successfully translates theoretical multi-species design principles into practical lived experience, while the photographic documentation captures a moment of peaceful coexistence that suggests broader possibilities for reimagining domestic furnishings as infrastructure supporting interspecies household harmony rather than human-exclusive utility.
Press Kit
- Unique Properties
- This human-pet integrated furniture transcends traditional pet product boundaries, integrating Animal Behavior Science and Ergonomics. It features three core unique strengths: Spatial Variability, Functional Complexity and Aesthetic Unity. The modular design adopts a basic unit and functional module structure with standardized interfaces for infinite free combinations. Each unit balances lightweight and structural stability through precision calculation, supporting on-demand configuration.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- Standard Dimensions: 130 cm W × 90 cm H × 80 cm D. Adopts a nested modular structure with eco-friendly packaging. Each functional module is 25 percent lightweight than traditional pet furniture, with a 30 kilogram load bearing capacity. The paper honeycomb core material achieves waterproof and wear resistant performance via special surface coating, meeting daily use requirements. Packaging uses recyclable corrugated paper with a compact structure for e-commerce logistics. All materials comply with international environmental standards, non-toxic and harmless to humans and pets.
