Kgothaletso: The designer drew inspiration from the auspicious and wealth-attracting symbolism of the mythical Chinese creature Pixiu in ancient Eastern mythology. Through in-depth research into the form, legends, and cultural significance of this mythical beast, the designer skillfully blended the charm of ancient aesthetics with modern sensibilities, creating functional everyday decorative items. The key to the design inspiration lies in the adept fusion of the creature's auspicious symbolism with contemporary living, transcending the constraints of time and revitalizing traditional culture in the present day.
