Mae Texts From Graphics yn llyfr o draethodau a ysgrifennwyd gan athrawon dylunio graffig o raglen brifysgol yn Mecsico. Mae'r traethodau'n mynegi syniadau a phryderon am ddylunio. Datblygwyd system eiconograffig i symleiddio'r cysyniadau cymhleth a drafodir yn y testunau, ac mae'r set o eiconau'n newid gyda phob pennod. Mae hierarchaeth, dewis teipograffyddol a chyfansoddiad yn tynnu sylw at y prif negeseuon ac yn cynorthwyo darlleniad ysgafn. Mae'r llyfr wedi'i argraffu mewn du a gwyn ar bapur bond, wedi'i wnïo mewn adrannau ac wedi'i rwymo â chloriau caled wedi'u gorffen â farnais, gan gadw costau cynhyrchu'n isel wrth sicrhau parhad.

Mae enillwyr Haearn yn dangos medrusrwydd mawr, arbenigedd uchel, dealltwriaeth arbenigol a gallu creadigol eu crewyr. Disgwylir i Texts From Graphics Llyfr fod yn greadigaeth uchel ei bri, a edmygir ac a anwylir, sydd yn ymarferol ac yn arloesol. Mae'r dyluniad buddugol hwn o Wobr Haearn A' Design Award yn integreiddio arferion gorau'r diwydiant ac mae ganddo nodweddion technegol cymwys wedi'u cysylltu â gwybodaeth ymarferol a dawn. Priodweddau Unigryw: Texts From Graphics is a collection of essays written by academic authors of the graphic design program at UDEM, expressing their concerns around ideas held about design.

The concept summarizes the creative processes used to solve communication problems by developing an iconographic system that simplifies complex ideas, changing the set between each chapter.

The main ideas are highlighted through hierarchies, typographical selections and compositions; creating a dynamic and light reading.
Dimensiynau a Phecynnu: The dimensions of the book are 143mm x 12mm x 221mm.
U V varnish was used in the cover of the book.
Tagiau: Editorial design, print, vector, typography, icon, grid, university, mexico, black and white, icon system
Technoleg Cynhyrchu: The design was made in black and white, digital printed on 90 grams bond paper for a low production cost. It was used a section sewn binding method in hard paste to ensure the durability of the book and UV varnish was applied on the cover.
Her Dylunio: The main obstacle of this project was the low budget available for the realization of the book. As it is a book made to praise the graphic design of the university high quality and formality was expected, using economical methods and materials.
Ymchwil: The creative processes and the design methodologies used in design were deeply analyzed in order to have a better insight of the topics dealt with in the essays, and to be able express effectively the conceps with the iconographic system.
Ysbrydoliaeth: The book originates from the need of the University of Monterrey to represent the graphic design program. The objective is to show the ideas of the professors of the university and the growth that the career has had through their professional perspective.
Hyd y Prosiect: The project was realized in 2017 in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, and was presented in the Vicerrectoria, de Arte, Arquitectura y Diseno (V I A A D) of the University of Monterrey.
Llif Gweithrediad: The typographic system created for the publication allows a better understanding of the essays. It is used as an introduction in the section covers to prepare the reader for the complex concepts expressed in the text; and along the pages as visual relief and support.
