The poster, while maintaining its function as printed material, uses special ink and paper that demonstrate consideration for the environment. As a result, it not only fulfills its role as a poster but also reflects a high level of consideration in projects related to national involvement.
Inspiration
The project is a residency program conducted by the National Institute of Japanese Literature, a research institute that seeks out and researches classical books, which are the life, spirit, and cultural heritage of Japan, and makes them available to the public both in Japan and abroad.
Project Duration
The project was launched in 2017 to open up the collection of classical books and the network of specialists cultivated by the National Institute of Japanese Literature to non-researchers. The exhibition was part of that project, inviting two artists and being held for one week from January 11 to January 17.

It presents a harmonious blend of old and modern styles, illustrating the integration of books, literature, and art. This design reflects the artists' contemplation on ancient stories and themes, clearly demonstrating the significant influence of traditional culture on their artwork.
