Mayelana ne-Beyond The Flow Idizayini Yangaphakathi Yendawo Yokudlela
I-Beyond The Flow yidizayini yangaphakathi yendawo yokudlela ye-yakiniku eTaichung, eTaiwan. Le phrojekthi ihlanganisa izitezi ezimbili ezinobubanzi obuphelele obungamamitha-skwele angu-280, futhi inezihlalo zezivakashi ezingu-48 esitezi sokuqala. Amaphaseji anezingcaba kanye nezimbobo zejometri ezisakazekile kuxhumanisa amagumbi futhi kuvumela ukukhanya nephunga elimnandi ukuba kudlule ngaphandle kwezindonga eziqinile. Izindonga zangaphakathi zenziwe nge-laterite yemvelo enomhlabathi we-diatomaceous kanye notshani bofulawa welayisi, okumunca iphunga futhi kulinganise umswakama. Isistimu efihliwe yokuphephetha umoya oya phansi (downdraft ventilation) isusa intuthu, ngakho-ke izinsiza zokukhipha umoya ezingaphezulu azidingeki.

Mayelana ne-Umklomelo Wesiliva we-A' Design Award
Beyond The Flow Idizayini Yangaphakathi Yendawo Yokudlela iwinile uMklomelo Wesiliva we-A' Design Award, ukwaziswa okuhloniphekile ngokungajwayelekile okunikezwa imiklamo esezingeni eliphezulu, ebukekayo nethinta kakhulu. Abawinile beSiliva yimisebenzi egqamile kakhulu nedala kakhulu ebonisa ubungcweti obuphawulekayo, italente nobuhlakani babaklami babo. Beyond The Flow Idizayini Yangaphakathi Yendawo Yokudlela ilindeleke ukuba ibe ngumsebenzi omuhle wesibonelo, onobungcweti obuphawulekayo nezinto ezintsha ezijulile. Lo mklamo owinile uMklomelo Wesiliva we-A' Design Award uyinto entsha ebonakala kakhulu nethakazelisayo esiza futhi isunduza imingcele yobuciko, isayensi, ukuklama nobuchwepheshe. Beyond The Flow Idizayini Yangaphakathi Yendawo Yokudlela iyinto enomhawu omkhulu kuyo evusa izifiso, ilethe imizwa emihle futhi ivuse ukumangala nokuxakeka.

- Izici Ezihlukile
- The arcshaped aspects extend from the exterior inwards, blending the space superbly methodical. The arced overhead pathways create the sense of passage from one room to the other without vertical walls and barriers. Beautifully designed geometric holes scattered around the space allows light and fragrance to flow through in a borderless form elegantly. Through the meticulously placed arched light strips and light bulbs, customers gain the ability to freely absorb the beautiful visuals of the space while enhancing their meal at the same time.
- Izilinganiso Nokupakisha
- The project consists of two floors equal to a total area of 280 square meters.
The property was originally a US military dormitory dating back to the 1960s. Previously, the area was lined up with rows of Japanese style Showa period buildings. The building was renovated through continuous economic growth and modernization into a yakiniku specialty restaurant. The establishment can service up to 48 seats on the first floor while providing a private and secluded workspace on the second floor. - Amathegi

- Ubuchwepheshe Bokukhiqiza
- The interior walls are made of natural laterite containing diatomaceous earth. It consists of humidity tolerance, odor absorption, and maximum heat capacity. Laterite bricks are natural stones that have cooling and thermal insulating properties. Rice straw is added, serving several purposes, the rice straws contain air purification properties through their natural fragrance. The purification aspect is commendable alone, drastically reducing the stench of thick oil in the air.
- Inselele Yokudweba
- High quality ventilation system and equipment are critical for a grill restaurant like this. The designers at Nong Mu could muster up multiple methods to manage smoke; one being the installation of hidden smoke ventilation systems. The downdraft of the ventilation prevents smoke from filling the air, thus eliminating the need to install overhead ventilation equipment. The hidden vent provided an effective way to manage smoke and maintain the much-improved aesthetic of the restaurant.
- Ucwaningo
- The dining area adopts an open design, benefiting from two arc passages to replicate moving lines and space flow. The tea area is a central location and a connecting channel for multiple areas. Through smart placements of lighting and table arrangements, staff can maintain maximum efficiency without clutter, as a result, this boosts operation capabilities of the establishment and thus improves customer dining experience further.
- Ugqozi
- The project design concept relies on the fundamentals of cave like, porous systems. The designer transformed the space into curved tunnel systems on the interior while being geometrical squares on the exterior. The exterior relies on crevices, gaps, and scattered holes to allow light and openness to seep inwards. The attractive arched entrance is durable and aesthetic. An incredible aurora of smoke is replicated under the combination of light and mist.
- Ubude Bephrojekthi
- The project is located in Taichung, Taiwan. The design commenced in November 2020 and will be completed in January 2021.
- Ukuhamba Kokusebenza
- The light strips illuminate the reflective glass behind at night, creating an infinite ring optical illusion. The luminous lights and soft mists instantly attract pedestrians and pique interest and curiosity. Light strips are further utilized on the interior to assist in blending on the outside. The designers utilized the benefits of the large windows, using them to create a reflective pane to improve the iron ring's aesthetic and blend the exterior and courtyard inwards.
