Umbhalo Wencwadi: I-Madam Wong iyibha yokwakhiwa kwangaphakathi etholakala e-Ipoh, e-Malaysia. Ukuklama kukhumbuza ukwakhiwa kwe-Shanghai ngeminyaka yawo-1920 kuyilapho kunezelwa nesici sanamuhla. Ungena ngendlela encane ethule, isikhala sisibamba amamitha ayisikwele angu-263 futhi sihlelwe ngamazinga amabili ukudala imizuzu yobumfihlo. Amaphaneli odonga akhethekile ahlanganisa izifanekiselo zendabuko namacwecwe ensimbi asikwe nge-laser ngokuphelele okugcotshwe ngephodwa. Izibonisi zamafeni namabutho abomdabu we-terracotta baphawula lapho okungenwa. Izitini ezibomvu, isikhumba esimnyama nokugcotshiwe kwensimbi kwenza uhlu lwezinto ezisetshenzisiwe, kanti umbala obomvu uletha ukufudumala kokwakhiwa kwangaphakathi.

Madam Wong Umsebenzi Oyinhloko Wokwakhiwa Kwangaphakathi Kwebha iwinile uMklomelo Webhulonzi we-A' Design Award, ukwaziswa okuhloniphekile kakhulu okunikezwa imiklamo ephawulekayo eyehlukaniswa ukudala, ubuhlakani nobukhali bengqondo. Abawinile beBhulonzi yimisebenzi enobuchule obukhulu nedala ngokumangalisayo eqinisekisa isipiliyoni esibanzi, umcabango nobuhlakani babaklami babo. Izici Ezihlukile: The concept behind the project aims to create a setting reminiscent of 1920s shanghai while also combining a contemporary aesthetic. The space is found within an unsuspecting alley, yet once patrons step inside they are transported to somewhere else entirely.

Amathegi: Bar, Lounge, Chinese, Red, Interior, Space
Ubuchwepheshe Bokukhiqiza: The bar interior is characterized by the sumptuous material palette. red brick, dark leather and accents of metal finishes are combined to create a luxurious setting. Red is also used as a central motif to bring warmth to the space and highlight the architecture.
Inselele Yokudweba: The bar is located in a 30+ years old cinema site and next to back alley of a night club, which caused difficult for operation. It is challenging to have construction work in a old condition building, and have to prevent sound travel from the night club next to it in order to provide a cozy and isolated environment.
Ucwaningo: The main research of the project focused on how to offer a glimpse into the past by resembling shanghai 1920s architectural constructions, yet with a contemporary twist, the idea can be seen throughout the particular motifs, such as the custom-made traditional motifs wall panels with contemporary material such as laser cut out metal sheet in powder coated finish.
Ugqozi: The interior intends to offer a glimpse into the past by resembling shanghai 1920s architectural constructions, yet with a contemporary twist. The concept can be seen throughout the particular motifs, such as the custom-made wall panels, fan displays, and terracotta warriors which greet patrons at the entrance.
Ubude Bephrojekthi: The project completed in 2018 in Ipoh, Malaysia
Ukuhamba Kokusebenza: The bar is also split over two levels, offering moments of privacy.
The design of Madam Wong provides patrons with a very intimate space to sit back and relax.
