Grand Children Palace yisikhungo sokufunda kusenesikhathi eGuangzhou, eChina. Isikhungo sisebenzisa indawo engamamitha ayisikwele angu-680 ngaphakathi kwesakhiwo esasiyifekthri esidala. Indawo evulekile enesimo esifana nesiphambano ephakathi ihlala imicimbi, izifundo kanye nokudlala ngokukhululeka. Iminyango nezindonga zincishisiwe, ukuze amagumbi omsebenzi kanye nendawo ephakathi kuhlale kuxhumene futhi kuvuleke ngokubukwayo. Imigodi emincane ihlelwe kulo lonke ibhilidi ngaphakathi ukuze kukhuthaze izingane ukuba zihlole indawo. Izinto ezisetshenziswayo zihlanganisa upende we-eco emulsion, i-veneer yezigodo, phansi le-oki kanye nama-tayela ebumba. Imininingwane eminingi yakhelwe ukuphepha nokukhululeka kwezingane.

Grand Children Palace Isikhungo Sokufunda Kusenesikhathi iwinile uMklomelo Wensimbi we-A' Design Award, ukwaziswa okuhloniphekile okunikezwa imiklamo emihle ehlangabezana nezidingo zobungcweti nezemboni ezilindelekile ezimpahleni ezihlelwe kahle. Abawinile beNsimbi babonisa ikhono elikhulu, ubungcweti obuphezulu, ukuqonda kochwepheshe namandla okudala abadali babo. Grand Children Palace Isikhungo Sokufunda Kusenesikhathi ilindeleke ukuba ibe yinto exatshwa kakhulu, edunyiswayo nethandwayo esebenzayo nenezinto ezintsha. Lo mklamo owinile uMklomelo Wensimbi we-A' Design Award uhlanganisa izindlela ezinhle kakhulu zemboni futhi unezimfanelo zobuchwepheshe ezifanelekile ezihlanganiswe nolwazi nethalente. Izici Ezihlukile: Grand Children Palace, an early learning center, helps children get off to the best possible start and develop various skills while enjoying different monthly programs. The cross-shape open space in the middle of the center provided more possibilities for teacher and external organization to hold events and classes.
Izilinganiso Nokupakisha: Netarea is 680 square meters. It's a renovation project which was transformed into a educational space from an old factory space.
Amathegi: children, early education, open space, pure
Ubuchwepheshe Bokukhiqiza: Main materials: eco emulsion paint, wood veneer, oak floor and ceramic tiles. This project has deatails which are special designed for children's safety and comfort. Small holes are created throughout the space to encourage children to explore and play.
Inselele Yokudweba: We removed part of the factories ceiling due to its poor conditions, which lead to two unexpected gaps between the brick wall and the arc rooftop that exposed the exterior facade. On top of that, the fire protection of the factory did not satisfy the requirements of a facility for educational purposes. As result, we managed to reconstruct the ceiling and fulfill the fire protection requirements, under very limited budget.
Ucwaningo: In Southern China, most of early learning centers only have separate classrooms for children to learn and play. But usually this kind of classroom is small and it would have a restriction on children and parents while playing and studying. And clients want this early learning centers to be a place for children to feel free without too much limitation. In the end, we design an open space to meet the wish of client without using the traditional space planing.
Ugqozi: We took the Grand Palais as the reference for early learning center design, because the Grand Palais has a spacious open space, housing various artistic events of Paris. What if we could give the early learning center much more space for future events and playground? The idea would save budget for clients, better business plan for propaganda, better place for hosting events and more ideal way for teaching and playing. In the end, we keep a big comfortable space in the middle of the center.
Ubude Bephrojekthi: This project started in April 2018, and finished in August 2018 in Guangzhou, China.
Ukuhamba Kokusebenza: The design of this learning center allows the students to interact in the building with freedom and creativity. Unlike traditional learning centers, the activity spaces and the central open scape are interconnected, obstacles such as doors and walls are minimized, the connection between spaces generate a sense of transparency. This encourages inhabitants, whether students or teachers, to interact with the functions of spaces and each other more frequently.
