The overall design of Tianxia Chuanjiang Exhibition Center unites architecture, interior and landscape in a balanced manner, allowing for a permeable integration between them. SHENZHEN LUSHANG DESIGN CO,.LTD.'s Tianxia Chuanjiang Exhibition Center represents a masterful synthesis of contemporary architectural expression and cultural heritage interpretation, wherein the designers have created a spatial experience that honors regional riverine traditions while embracing the luminous possibilities of modern construction technology. The installation demonstrates exceptional sensitivity to the dialogue between material warmth and architectural coolness, positioning a dramatically suspended sculptural element—suggesting the curved hull forms of traditional wooden vessels—within a soaring atrium defined by geometric precision and refined material restraint. The suspended form functions as both visual anchor and cultural touchstone, its honey-toned timber construction and delicate linear composition evoking the craft traditions and waterway heritage that have shaped regional identity for centuries. The compositional achievement lies in the careful orchestration of scale relationships, wherein the grand vertical proportions of the architectural envelope provide appropriate context for the sculptural gesture while the intimate scale of the architectural models below invites close examination and contemplation. The latticed screen wall demonstrates sophisticated understanding of traditional construction principles translated into contemporary material expression, creating rhythmic visual cadence while establishing functional spatial separation. Light emerges as a primary design medium throughout, with the generous skylight system washing surfaces in a quality of illumination that shifts throughout the day, animating the reflective stone flooring and creating ever-changing atmospheric conditions. The curatorial presentation of architectural models within the elegantly curved white display island suggests an invitation to envision future built environments, positioning visitors as active participants in imagining community development. - Tianxia Chuanjiang Exhibition Center is located in Luzhou City, Sichuan Province, China, a famous wine city in China, which has been known as the Pearl of the Wine City and the Drunken Beauty of Luzhou since ancient times, and is also the convergence point of the Chuanjiang culture.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- The overall area of this project is nearly 3216 square meters, the main space function covers the project sand table model display area, Chuanjiang culture exhibition hall, negotiation reception area and other spaces. The old house is sheltered from the wind and rain, the old boat carries things to ferry people, there is a boat with feasible water, and there is a house with a home.

- Since the memories of childhood are now shining into reality, the boats are moored in the harbor, the Chuan River is a warm home, the residents, the tile eaves, the slender ropes, the ancient boats as the source of spatial inspiration, surround the whole project.
- Design Challenge
- The use of jute rope, cement Lanson panels, wood grain Lanson panels and light oak finished decorations throughout the interior of the sales office creates a stunning art appreciation piece, while softening the overall atmosphere and providing an immersive visiting experience for visitors.

- The project started in March 2019 in Chian and finished in March 2023.
- Operation Flow
- Tianxia Chuanjiang Exhibition Center uses black and white, warm gray and wood as the main color palette to unify the space, so that the space conveys a home-like warmth and comfort. In addition, the design uses red and plant green as accents to enrich the space levels, while adding metal to brighten the sense of character and texture of the space.
- Research
- During the design process, the design team tried to give the overall space a unique and modern feel, using Ferrari grey marble as the main flooring material to achieve a dignified and atmospheric atmosphere for the business space.
- Inspiration
- Based on the geographic and cultural characteristics of the project, the design of Tianxia Chuanjiang Exhibition Center is based on the theme of Chuanjiang culture, with the intention of creating a space with modern oriental aesthetics, but also a fusion of traditional and modern, oriental and western atmosphere, while creating a humanistic commercial reception space.
