About Thankusir Neverland Restaurant

The area of whole project is quite large, the cost of electricity and water transformation and central air-conditioning is high, as well as other kitchen hardware and equipment, so the available budget on interior space decoration is quite limited, thus designers take the “nature beauty of the building itself ", which delivers a big surprise. The roof has been modified by installing different sized sky-lights on top. During the day time, the sun shines through the sky-lights, creates nature and harmonized light effect.

The whole project area is huge, but the renovation budget is quite tight, so they decided to take advantage of the beauty of the building itself, which actually gives them a big unexpected surprise. We have preserved the mottled walls of the building, with The rustic materials such as wood and cement make the whole space more harmonious.
Design Challenge
Keep the beauty of the old house itself, not destroy it.
Project Duration
The project started in August 2017 in Shenyang and finished in october 2018 in Shenyang.
Operation Flow
The designer made passages between several independent buildings, and each space was connected to each other. Guests could pass through each space through these passages without having to go outside to transit.
Research
The power of silence radiates beauty that can not be carved by hand in a short period of time, even the most luxurious materials can not be presented. Designers pay more attention to natural properties in selecting materials Pay attention to the use of materials and space mottled natural sense of harmonious coexistence.
Inspiration
The inspiration comes from the fact that before starting designing, the designer entered the building and saw all of these mottled old walls, which were beautiful. He wanted to keep them and let other design actions set off their beauty.
