About T70 Ultra Station Floor Cleaner

The T70 Ultra Station is a floor cleaner designed for home use. The Edge-Sensing System allows cleaning in spaces as low as 8 millimetres, with a side reach of 30 millimetres for edge to edge wet mopping. The Smart Capture Robotic Arm lifts to 17 millimetres to collect larger particles. The docking station holds 5.5 litres of water and refills the cleaner automatically. The slim frame measures 98.5 millimetres and is made of PET with in-mould decoration. Operation is quiet at 68 decibels, and drying is automatic.

Within the evolving landscape of domestic technology design, the T70 Ultra Station Floor Cleaner emerges as a compelling exemplar of how contemporary industrial design reconciles functional necessity with aesthetic refinement, transforming utilitarian household objects into sculptural presences worthy of considered placement within carefully curated living environments. The work demonstrates sophisticated understanding of material semiotics, employing brushed aluminum surfaces that communicate durability, precision engineering, and technological advancement while maintaining visual warmth through subtle reflective properties that respond dynamically to ambient lighting conditions. The designers appear to have engaged thoughtfully with the challenge of designing objects that must occupy visible domestic space, resolving the tension between operational requirements and visual discretion through elegant proportional relationships and a restrained chromatic palette that harmonizes with diverse interior schemes. The vertical orientation of the primary unit suggests aspiration and efficiency, while the horizontal base station grounds the composition with stability and permanence, together creating a balanced visual dialogue between movement and repose. Material choices reveal intentional hierarchy: the premium metallic finish of the main body communicates primary importance and frequent tactile interaction, while the glossy black base recedes visually to suggest supportive infrastructure. The presentation context—positioned at the threshold between warmly paneled and minimally finished architectural zones—suggests the product's versatility and capacity to integrate gracefully across varied domestic aesthetics. Shadow patterns cast across the wall introduce temporal dimension, anchoring the object within lived experience rather than abstract product isolation. The careful attention to surface finish, joint resolution, and proportional refinement throughout speaks to manufacturing precision and design integrity that elevates everyday maintenance tasks through tools worthy of appreciation. Viewers might consider how such objects reshape our relationship with domestic labor, transforming routine maintenance into encounters with thoughtfully conceived design.

Production Technology
The T70 uses PET materials and IML in-mold decoration for its frame, achieving a sleek and refined finish. An innovative detachable front panel allows material swaps for varied styles and eco-friendly recycling. The advanced motor and noise-reduction tech deliver 27000Pa strong suction and 68dB(A) low noise. The TOF sensor triggers the outward-swinging cloth disc, combining mechanical functions with sleek aesthetics.
Design Challenge
Innovation: The T70 uniquely adopts the Edge-Sensing System and Smart Capture Robotic Arm 3.0. It delivers edge-to-edge cleaning and 17mm large debris pickup, balances 27kPa powerful suction with 68dB(A) low noise, and combines smart water refilling and ZnO antibacterial & deodorizing functions for a hassle-free experience.
Challenge: It solves industry pain points in edge and low-clearance blind spot cleaning, and overcomes the technical dilemma of balancing powerful suction with quiet running.
Project Duration
The project will finish in April 2026 in Suzhou.
Operation Flow
The T70 balances easy handling with low-frequency routine maintenance. After startup, the AI boost system adapts to floor surfaces automatically, reducing pushing resistance. The outward-swinging and Smart Capture functions activate automatically on edges, corners or large debris, no manual operation required. The docking system auto-cleans the roller brush, charges, refills water and sterilizes once the T70 is placed back after cleaning, enabling fully managed cleaning throughout the process.
Research
The T70 addresses key issues of home floor cleaners in edge cleaning, low-clearance areas and wet-dry debris scenarios. It breaks the physical constraints of traditional models through a dynamically expandable cleaning structure and an AI-powered robotic arm system. This design drives breakthrough improvements in cleaning coverage and debris removal efficiency, and creates a closed-loop user experience with long-term maintenance-free operation.
Inspiration
The T70 blends consumer electronics design with CMF craftsmanship, boasting an ultra-slim 98.5mm frame and IML electroplating in-mold injection tech. It cuts the utilitarian feel for refined, premium aesthetics. The outward-swinging cloth disc has a new transparent double-layer casing, with a translucent outer injection-molded layer and an electroplated inner layer. The decorative cover rotates with the gearbox, balancing mechanical aesthetics, functional visibility and structural protection.
