About T16 Mix Floor Cleaner

T16 Mix is a floor cleaner designed for cleaning throughout the home. Five tool configurations, including a floor cleaner, a vacuum and a mite remover, are combined in one slim body through a detachable power module. An artificial intelligence dual robotic arm system reaches edges, corners and stubborn stains. Torsion spring balancing, adapted from aerospace use, counteracts gravity for light one hand handling and smooth steering. The casing is made of PET with in-mold labeling for a seamless and scratch resistant finish.

The T16 Mix Floor Cleaner emerges from a distinguished tradition of domestic appliance design that prioritizes the synthesis of technological capability with visual refinement, positioning itself within the contemporary movement toward home tools that merit display rather than concealment. This presentation suggests an understanding that modern domestic implements serve not merely functional purposes but participate in the aesthetic environment of living spaces, their forms contributing to the visual vocabulary of contemporary interiors. The composition demonstrates sophisticated awareness of product family presentation, arranging multiple configurations to communicate systemic versatility while maintaining coherent visual identity through consistent material language and proportional relationships. Technical accomplishment manifests in the seamless integration of disparate functional requirements, where the primary floor-cleaning unit shares formal DNA with handheld variants through unified cylindrical motor housings and harmonized color relationships. The designer appears to have engaged thoughtfully with the semiotics of premium consumer goods, deploying brushed metallic finishes that communicate precision engineering alongside matte polymer elements that suggest durability and practical grip. Chromatic restraint, limiting the palette to silver, charcoal, and minimal coral accent, allows material qualities rather than applied color to establish visual hierarchy and emotional register. The ribbed texture element introduces tactile invitation within an otherwise smooth formal vocabulary, perhaps suggesting the haptic pleasure of actual use. One might observe how the graduated background environment, transitioning from deep blue-gray to luminous reflection, creates an almost theatrical staging that elevates these functional objects into contemplative subjects worthy of sustained visual attention. The viewer is invited to consider how the boundaries between tool and sculptural object continue to dissolve in contemporary design practice, where everyday implements increasingly aspire to the formal resolution once reserved for purely aesthetic creations.

Production Technology
The T16 Mix adopts premium in-mold labeling technology, fusing scratch-resistant texture films with PET casings in a one-piece design for a seamless finish and long-lasting durability. High-precision torsion spring balancing mechanisms, proven in aerospace applications, are integrated into the core mechanical structure to counteract gravity. The AI dual-robotic arm system consists of high-torque servo motors and flexible composite material components, working in seamless tandem.
Design Challenge
Through continuous comprehensive verification, the design team turned multiple groundbreaking technologies into reality, delivering professional-grade whole-house cleaning with a single product. This requires stable switching and seamless power transfer of the detachable multi-form structure within a compact body, while ensuring the AI dual-robotic arm system delivers precise, edge-to-edge cleaning with zero moisture residue through dynamic coordination in complex home settings.
Project Duration
The project will finish in April 2026 in Suzhou
Operation Flow
Users select functions via intuitive buttons and a clear display screen. During cleaning, the T16 Mix features an ultra-light grip and smooth 360° steering, letting users easily push, pull and turn with just one hand. The AI robotic arm adjusts automatically to edges, corners and tough stains, letting users clean without extra labor. The modular design allows for easy form conversion—switching from a floor cleaner to a handheld vacuum feels intuitive and straightforward.
Research
To tackle scattered household cleaning tasks and redundant tools, the design team focused on modular architecture feasibility, motion control algorithms for bionic cleaning robotic arms, and ergonomics-based force feedback structures during the design process.
With its highly integrated components, intelligent coordination modules and ultra-lightweight construction, it covers all cleaning scenarios and reduces operational effort, setting an integrated design benchmark for the industry.
Inspiration
The design team took an in-depth look at the issues of redundant household tools and heavy cleaning workloads in modern homes. They recognized homes cluttered with a jumble of single-purpose cleaning gadgets, while traditional floor cleaners prove awkward to handle, miss hard-to-reach spots and leave behind lingering moisture. The T16 Mix answers the call for a fully efficient, effortless and elegant cleaning solution—a quest for cleaning perfection in its ideal form.
