About Ryujin Illustration
Ryujin is an illustration inspired by the dragon deity of the sea in Japanese mythology. The artwork was made from scratch and follows a minimal approach with a strong focus on detail. The background shows Japanese-inspired waves that reflect the character. The concept was first sketched digitally, then vector linework, shading and color were applied, and final adjustments completed the image. The illustration is printed on posters, greeting cards and shirts. The aim was to convey the power of the character through traditional Japanese imagery combined with a personal style.

In many versions, Ryujin had the ability to transform into a human shape. many believed the god had knowledge of medicine and many considered him as the bringer of rain and thunder. This design is made based on traditional Japanese dragon imagery but we decide to come up with our own concept look based on our imagination, style, and aesthetics
