About Quantum Building
Quantum is a building designed to host the forefront in Product Design as well as all important and iconic works created over the years. Simply its a Museum and Exhibition Center. The style is probably Organic-Eclectic, shape can be geometrically described as a combination of overlapping spheres, displaced relatively one to another, forming two asymmetrical corpora with different internal areas and balconies. The connection between them is accomplished by 5 corridors in the form of mini-deformed protuberances.

- Production Technology
- The structure will be made of steel and concrete. External shell - fractal pattern aluminium alloy or other light material with polymer structure. Using the new technology it could be even 3D printed. Glass panels on both sides.
- Design Challenge
- The whole project was a big challenge. As interesting is an exhibition, namely the building is one that attracts and by its shape you can guess what can be expected inside.
- Project Duration
- The project started 9 months ago. Creation and development took place in Bulgaria.
- Operation Flow
- The main purpose of this building is to host temporary or permanent exhibitions.
- Research
- The style is probably Organic-Eclectic, shape can be geometrically described as a combination of overlapping spheres, displaced relatively one to another, forming two asymmetrical corpora with different internal areas and balconies. The connection between them is accomplished by 5 corridors in the form of mini-deformed protuberances. Spiritually it can have many descriptions but the primary idea was to represent the connection and at the same time the difference between past and future in the product design.
- Inspiration
- Creating this building was a great opportunity to unleash your imagination in unusual direction.

Design Interview about Quantum Building
This is my first attempt in Architectural design, i just wanted to create a building in the way i am seeing it.
Unique shape, because i think in the Architectural design this is the most important.
It would be great if any interest of building this but unfortunately i guess it will remain only a concept.
I have version one of this building, later i decided to add this white shell. All project took me 6 months.
Originally it was a project for a competition about designing a museum. I didn't win but i decided to share what i have created.
At this stage i don't have neither plans nor offers this building to be created.
It was made for a contest.
There are plenty of designs which can inspire but in that case i wouldn't say that i was influenced.
Large investor in Construction business
The shape is unusual.
The name Quantum represents mostly the shape. These two corpora are like two separating particles.
Software for 3D modeling and rendering.
It is the shape of the two corpora and the corridors that connecting them.
Yes, i made some consultations with architects.
Using the latest technologies you always have the possibility to create more complex shapes.
I wouldn't say, it was based on inspiration.
The main challenge was to create a building which has to be attractive.
I wanted to show this project first to the jury to receive evaluation and luckily it won an award and it became more
popular.
popular.
This is my first attempt in designing buildings so there is a lot to improve.
Thank you very much for this interview.
