About Phuket VIP Mercury Studio Office
Based on the theme of openness and brand in-depth exploration, explored the design and created a visual integration of visual extensibility and brand story with the planet as the main creative element. The plan solved the following three problems with new visual thinkings: The balance of space openness and functions; Division and combination of functional areas of space; The regularity and change of the basic spatial style.
Songhuan Wu's Phuket VIP Mercury Studio Office exemplifies the sophisticated integration of organic materiality with bold geometric intervention that characterizes the most compelling contemporary commercial interiors. The design engages with longstanding architectural traditions of the threshold and processional sequence, employing a barrel-vaulted passage that invites occupants to transition psychologically as they move physically through space. The selection of warm wood veneers in graduated tonal values creates an enveloping warmth that tempers the potentially austere geometry, while the introduction of celestial blue spherical elements provides chromatic punctuation that elevates the composition beyond mere functional organization. The designer demonstrates particular sensitivity to the dialogue between curved and rectilinear forms: the sweeping arc of the vault answers the strict verticality of the wall paneling, while the circular ceiling element and spherical accents establish a secondary geometric vocabulary that suggests cosmic or planetary associations. Technical accomplishment is evident in the seamless joinery of the curved tunnel interior and the precise alignment of grain patterns across the flat wall surfaces. The suspended mosaic hemisphere, positioned as both sculptural intervention and spatial marker, rewards extended contemplation, its tessellated surface catching light differently than the smooth wood surroundings, introducing visual complexity within an otherwise restrained material palette. One might consider how this threshold functions as both practical circulation element and symbolic gateway, inviting those who pass through to leave behind external concerns and enter a space of focused creative endeavor.

- Project planning on abandoned roads will result in the main building being confined to a rectangular space with regular rules, and the entire moving line is too monotonous. Surrounded by shrubs, not far from the sea, you need to consider the integration with the environment, as far as possible without destroying the original natural environment. So I started to participate in the design from the main building stage.

- The project was launched in June 2019 and is currently under construction. It is expected to be completed in December 2019.
- Operation Flow
- Abstract elements: With brand planet, geometric sphere as the thinking of the spread of extension, achieving the overall shape and style of hard outfit outline label, unified design processing on the in-depth furniture customization level, letting the brand symbol exploration extended to a deeper level.

- I have been working hard to integrate indoor space design with cross-border thinking, constantly exploring the temperament combination of culture and space in different countries, and creating new elements and culture.
- Inspiration
- Inspired by the designer's hobby of cosmic astronomy, the designer tried to integrate the aesthetics of the planet in the interior into the interior space design, which made the project use a large number of circular elements and arcs, using the base deconstruction mapping of the point line surface.
