About NoW.0 Radiator
The vertical designed lines are self connected with a special shape and give the object its defined outline. The oversized dimensions 1800X450mm and its shape offer a unique character. Its aluminium metal construction and the ability to use any desired colour, produce a special and commonly acceptable piece of work.
Xenofon Hector Grigorelis's NoW.0 Radiator represents a remarkable achievement in the ongoing dialogue between utilitarian necessity and sculptural expression that has characterized progressive design thinking since the early twentieth century. This work participates in a distinguished lineage of designers who have sought to elevate functional household components into objects of aesthetic contemplation, transforming the heating element from a concealed utility into a celebrated architectural feature. The composition demonstrates sophisticated understanding of visual rhythm, deploying staggered vertical elements that create syncopated patterns reminiscent of musical notation or the carefully calibrated asymmetries found in Japanese architectural traditions. The integration of natural wood components within the predominantly metallic structure suggests an awareness of biophilic design principles, introducing organic warmth and tactile variation that humanizes the industrial precision of the overall form. Technically, the work exhibits mastery of proportion and scale, its vertical emphasis appropriate to contemporary interior spaces with generous ceiling heights while its relatively shallow profile maintains spatial efficiency. The choice of white finish allows the radiator to function as a light-reflective surface, contributing to the luminosity of the interior environment while establishing the neutral presence necessary for integration across diverse decorative schemes. The wooden horizontal elements serve both aesthetic and potentially functional purposes, providing surfaces for the placement of objects while introducing color temperature contrast that enlivens the monochromatic metal composition. The presentation context itself merits attention, as the work is shown within an architectural setting that emphasizes materiality through exposed cement surfaces and natural timber, suggesting the intended dialogue between the radiator and contemporary minimalist interiors. The designer appears to engage with questions of how necessary domestic technologies might contribute to rather than detract from spatial beauty, proposing that heating elements deserve the same design attention traditionally reserved for furniture and decorative objects. One might contemplate how this work challenges conventional boundaries between building systems and interior furnishings, inviting consideration of the aesthetic potential latent within all functional elements of the domestic environment.

- Unique Properties
- There are thirteen lines in the project that give life to a simple radiator. The are no valves connected, thanks to a patented built in unit that makes it innovative.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- The dimension of the radiator is 1800X450X70mm.It is made out of aluminium with thickness 70X30mm.Thirteen connecting pipes outline the radiator's shape. Innovation occurs thanks to a patented built in unit which allow us to fend off the common valves.

- Production Technology
- The radiator was digitally designed using cad & 3d modelling software. It can be produced in aluminium polished or mat, or any other range of RAL colours.
- Design Challenge
- The designer challenge was to renaissance a common object. The result was a contemporary and post- modern radiator that makes any interior space look more attractive and elegant.
- Project Duration
- This project its conceptual and has not been prototyped or constructed. The design stage lasted 2 months from early November to the end of December 2017 in Thessaloniki - Greece.
- Operation Flow
- Its primary function is that of a heating system. Its combination of simplicity and imposing form, transforms it into a powerful piece of decoration for any contemporary house.
- Research
- Innovation of the valves absence due to the patented built in unit offered the freedom to propose a new form and shape. The designer need is to present a new style radiator completely different from the traditional heating component.
- Inspiration
- The designer sensitivity to draw straight lines, led to the creation of the ''No Way Out'' Radiator. The transformation of everyday's object into artistic corners, has always been a challenge. The making of a unique heating panel using a different perspective and value, was the designer achievement.
