About Longfor Origin Sales Center
Longfor Origin is a sales center located in Shenyang, China. The interior covers 1400 square meters and is arranged as a customized club space that combines art, technology, humanities, health, business and entertainment, with the sales function kept discreet. An astrolabe design and a spiral chandelier create patterns of light during the day and points of starlight at night. A spiral staircase with a metallic texture connects the two floors. Steps, straight lines and floor-to-ceiling windows separate the areas and add depth.
Longfor Origin Sales Center by Cindy Jin presents a masterwork of contemporary interior architecture that synthesizes technological precision with organic fluidity, creating an immersive spatial experience that elevates the commercial typology into the realm of experiential art. The design appears to draw upon multiple traditions within modernist and contemporary architectural discourse, from the spiraling geometries of Frank Lloyd Wright's Guggenheim to the parametric explorations of Zaha Hadid and the celestial aspirations of historic sacred architecture, yet synthesizes these influences into a distinctly original vision. The central oculus functions as both literal and metaphorical heart of the composition, its triangulated glass structure suggesting both the precision of crystalline geometry and the protective dome of a cosmic observatory. The suspended sculptural installation, with its ascending chrome forms, introduces an element of apparent movement and biological reference within the otherwise architectonic environment, perhaps evoking cellular structures, aquatic life, or celestial bodies in formation. The material palette demonstrates remarkable sophistication in its orchestration of warm metallic tones, creating an atmosphere of refined luxury without ostentation. Light becomes a primary design material here, modulated through the geometric skylight, reflected from polished surfaces, and emanating from integrated sources to create an ever-changing luminous environment responsive to diurnal cycles. The curving envelope walls, with their suggestions of perforation and layered surfaces, soften the potentially overwhelming scale while introducing intimacy and human-scaled detail. This work invites contemplation of the relationship between commerce and culture, questioning how spatial experience might transform functional transactions into memorable encounters.

- Unique Properties
- Thanks to the astrolabe design, the blue sky is exhibited in a more palpable manner. During the day, light illuminates and dazzles the space while interweaving with curves. At night, it is framed with pieces of starlight. This will allow people to embrace their imaginations while being accompanied by a starry sky.

- Production Technology
- The private dining area is given a sense of sequence and depth by the straight lines and mullioned wall design, which also creates a neat and orderly pattern. The two floor-to-ceiling windows improve transparency and purity while subtly introducing grace without being overly heavy. Instead of using a huge solid wall partition to split the promenade public space that includes a cat cafe and a kids zone, the designer employs steps to boost the room's sense of layers and three dimensional effect.

- From the way of the social circle to the philosophy of space, the Longfor Origin Sales Center blends classical modernity with contemporary exquisiteness, displaying modern style and pushing the envelope to create a multi-experience elite social club.
- Project Duration
- Located in Shengyang, China, this project is started in December 2021 and completed in April 2022.
- Operation Flow
- The dynamic spiral chandelier combined with the concise lines, dances with the music and sparkles with vibrant lights and shadows, creating a sense of progressive rhythm and giving the viewer an immersive experience. A spiral staircase with a curry and metallic texture connects the two-story area. The smooth curves soften the edges and achieve harmony between beauty and connotation. A clear view of the cityscape is offered in the fitness area, where people can relax both physically and mentally.
- Research
- This project is located in Heping Bay in the middle of Heping District, Shenyang. Relying on Shenyang "one river and two banks" policy development dividend, it enjoys urban industry, talent potential, and the pulse of urban development in Shenyang. It has become the new pride of living, the new coordinates of prosperity, and the gathering place of high-end people.
- Inspiration
- In response to the increasing homogeneity of the real estate market, the designer challenges conventional design thinking by introducing the concept of de-sales center. As a result, efforts have been made to transform Longfor Origin into a highly customized club space that integrates art, technology, humanities, health, business, entertainment and private banquet, with the sales center serving as a hidden function.
