About I Really Like Math Interactive Textbook
I Really Like Math is an interactive mathematics textbook for school students. The textbook presents mathematical concepts through infographics to support clear reading and focus. Students can insert film or attach magnets to the pages and learn principles through direct handling. The cover is designed to be operated by students. The binding allows learning materials to be reconfigured for different curricula and additional materials to be stored. The page layout follows user experience research, with the line of sight, colors and images applied in a systematic way.
VISANG's I Really Like Math Interactive Textbook exemplifies contemporary educational publishing's embrace of sophisticated visual communication strategies that transform learning materials into objects of genuine aesthetic appeal and tactile engagement. This cover design operates within the tradition of Scandinavian-influenced flat illustration, employing radically simplified geometric forms and a carefully calibrated palette to create visual environments that feel simultaneously playful and intellectually substantive. The Ferris wheel serves as an inspired metaphorical vehicle, transforming the potentially intimidating subject of mathematics into a joyful carnival attraction where each gondola offers a new discovery, a new character encounter, a new numerical adventure. The chromatic strategy demonstrates considerable sophistication: the dominant cobalt blue establishes trust and contemplative depth while the golden yellow typography and central hub inject warmth and accessibility, creating a complementary harmony that activates visual energy without overwhelming young learners. Technical accomplishment is evident in the precise vector rendering, the thoughtful integration of the die-cut element that transforms a two-dimensional cover into a three-dimensional interactive object, and the consistent application of design language across the series volumes visible in the composition. The character designs within each circular capsule employ geometric reduction to create figures that communicate friendliness and approachability through minimal means, their expressions suggesting enthusiasm for the mathematical concepts they embody. One might observe how the triangular support structure of the Ferris wheel subtly reinforces geometric awareness, embedding mathematical forms into the very architecture of the illustration. The cloud motifs and small decorative elements create visual breathing room while maintaining the overall sense of a carefully constructed, intentional environment. This work invites consideration of how thoughtful design can fundamentally reshape a child's relationship to academic subjects, transforming potential anxiety into anticipation.
