About Glory Of Galaxy Residential Design

Glory of Galaxy is a residential complex that brings garden living into high rise housing. A mixed height layout combines high rise flats with low rise villas, answering limited land supply while keeping ample public space. Villa level courtyards are merged with the open views of the upper flats. The facade uses aluminum panels and stone in varied colors, gentle horizontal lines and rounded corners. Covered walkways and a stone gate link the drop off zone to the lobby, and a communal space on the elevated ground floor supports contact among residents.

JOMAI's Glory Of Galaxy Residential Design exemplifies a sophisticated contemporary approach to luxury residential development that synthesizes architectural rigor with artistic expression, positioning the project within broader conversations about the integration of sculptural elements in residential environments. The commanding biomorphic sculpture, rendered in mirror-finish stainless steel, serves as both focal point and mediating element between the orthogonal discipline of the built form and the organic qualities of the surrounding landscape, suggesting an awareness of traditions extending from modernist sculpture gardens through contemporary placemaking practices. The material palette demonstrates considerable refinement, juxtaposing the warm champagne tones of illuminated interiors against the cool metallic surfaces of the facade treatment, while the fluted vertical panels flanking the entrance establish a measured architectural rhythm that grounds the more expressive sculptural gesture. Technical accomplishment is evident in the handling of the reflective water feature, which extends the spatial experience through mirror-like duplication of architectural elements, creating a sense of depth and contemplative stillness that enhances the residential atmosphere. The twilight capture reveals careful consideration of artificial lighting integration, with warm interior illumination establishing domestic intimacy against the cooling exterior palette of the blue hour. Thematically, the composition appears to explore tensions between permanence and fluidity, between the sheltering stability of architectural enclosure and the dynamic movement suggested by the sculptural form, perhaps inviting meditation on the nature of home as both fixed dwelling and site of continuous transformation. The viewer might consider how the interplay of reflective surfaces, from polished sculpture to water mirror to glass curtain wall, creates a layered visual experience that rewards sustained observation.

Production Technology
The project prioritizes sustainability, featuring plenty of eco friendly and recyclable materials like stone and aluminum. These materials undergo polishing processes for improved durability and aesthetic appeal. A zoning approach is employed, with stone predominantly used in the lower levels and paint applied to the upper levels. All materials are customized in factories for excellent waterproof and moisture resistant properties, ensuring the project meets the highest quality standards.
Design Challenge
The core innovation lies in successfully adapting the garden living concept to high rise buildings, seamlessly merging villa level courtyards with flat level expansive views. Moreover, the project marks the first implementation of the fourth generation residence model in Chongqing, leveraging innovative spatial planning and material applications to demonstrate how high quality living environments can be achieved even under the constraints of limited land resources.
Project Duration
The project was designed and developed in Chongqing in October 2023, and completed and delivered in Chongqing in June 2025.
Operation Flow
Refined circulation and humanized design enhance the daily living experience. A dry return home system is created, where a 150 meter luxury stone gate and covered walkways connect the drop off zone all the way to the residential lobby. The main entrance is recessed, with the stone wall directly facing the street. The pedestrian entry is positioned to the side, balancing privacy and Feng Shui principles. The communal space on the elevated ground floor fosters social interaction among residents.
Research
Chongqing faces scarce land resources and limited supply of villa properties. With its experience in crafting high end residences, Longfor has pioneered a hybrid model that integrates high rise buildings and courtyards, redefining the relationship among people, architecture, and nature within a framework of intensive development. Nestled in the core section of Jinkai Avenue, the project balances a distinguished urban presencewith a quiet atmosphere, embodying outward prestige and inward poetry.
Inspiration
The facade draws inspiration from the spoilers of supercars and the letter T in the word TOP, infusing the building with a sense of modernity and dynamism. Through gentle yet restrained horizontal lines, warm and refined materials, and rounded corners, it creates a new, floating presence reminiscent of a hyperfluid form. Aluminum panels and stone in varying colors are artfully utilized to enrich the facade with distinct textures, enhancing the overall aesthetic value.
