About Fireplace Valley Sales Center

Fireplace Valley is a sales center interior located in Guilin, China. The design draws on local river scenery and folk traditions. At the entrance, a half-arc panel of purple landscape marble is placed against a creamy white marble wall and recalls the form of a small boat. Light fixtures at the reception area use traditional bamboo weaving techniques. A wave-like ceiling shapes the main space. The negotiation area has sunken couches set around an atomized fireplace embedded in the floor, and the skylight above is made of fishing net.

Zhou Jing's Fireplace Valley Sales Center exemplifies the refined intersection of contemporary hospitality design and biophilic architectural principles, demonstrating how commercial environments may transcend their functional purpose to become spaces of genuine contemplation and sensory delight. The dramatic pitched ceiling, clad in vertically oriented pale wood paneling, establishes an immediate sense of protective enclosure while its ascending geometry suggests aspiration and openness to the natural world visible through the extensive glass envelope. The material palette reveals sophisticated restraint, with the designer seemingly drawing upon a dialogue between manufactured precision and organic warmth: the crisp geometry of built-in elements and polished stone surfaces counterbalanced by the handcrafted quality of woven rattan seating and the primal presence of the central fire feature. This fire pit, positioned at the compositional and experiential heart of the space, evokes ancient gathering traditions while its contemporary execution in dark aggregate and controlled flame speaks to modern technical refinement. The spatial organization demonstrates masterful manipulation of level changes, with subtle stepped platforms creating distinct zones for intimate conversation and quiet reflection without fragmenting the visual continuity of the whole. Floor-to-ceiling glazing dissolves the boundary between interior and exterior, framing views of mature landscape that appears to flow continuously into the space through strategic furniture placement and color harmonies that echo the natural world beyond. The furniture selection reveals careful attention to both formal sculptural quality and tactile comfort, from the embracing curves of the egg-shaped rattan chairs to the generous proportions of the built-in daybeds. One might consider how the interplay of geometric precision and organic softness throughout this composition invites occupants to experience a state of elevated calm, where commercial transaction becomes secondary to the profound human need for shelter, warmth, and connection to nature.

Unique Properties
The best way to appreciate beauty of Guilin is to take a bamboo raft and gently row in the aesthetic, poetic realm. Against the creamy-white marble background at the entrance to the Sales Center, a half-arc, purple landscape marble emulates form of a small boat in a skillful way as if a fishing boat slowly approaches in the misty spray under a peak. The Negotiation Area features sinking couches where customers can sit around. With an atomized fireplace embedded on ground as the center
Dimensions & Packaging
The mezzanine on the second floor is specifically decorated with gradually whitening glass. From afar, it looks like hillside fog throughout the year or Lijiang River surface with pervasive fogand misty vapor in morning rain in Karst landscape. The gradually darkening glass produces a visually aesthetic effect, hides pillarsinside and looks lighter. Meanwhile, it is so considerate by taking into account the visual block and etiquette forwomen who walk high above. In addition, the processes of glass floors help reducethe floor thickness and height.
Production Technology
Followingthis idea, designers activate interaction between space and man by means ofvarious derivatives of water. As an innovation of designers, skylight of thenegotiation area is made of fishing net, forming a large, breathable and lively environment sculpture.
