About Eco-jew and Decorative Objects Jewelry

Eco-jew and Decorative Objects is a collection of jewelry and decorative pieces made from paper. The bracelets, necklaces and objects are formed from discarded toilet paper roll tubes and from handmade recycled paper. All pieces are made by hand with a cutting technique. Production is carried out by a social inclusion project in Brazil that serves low-income people with mental illness and social vulnerability. The collection gives a new use to a material that is discarded every day, and it keeps the whole cycle sustainable, from material to production.

Operation Flow
It was because of a nuisance - the garbage we make every day - that the first piece of what is now a line of Eco-jewelry and paper objects was born.
This first bracelet was made with the reuse of the toilet paper roll tube.
I wanted the whole cycle to be sustainable, from material to production, and I went after a social project.
The production is all make by Oficina de Papel, an institution that serves low-income people with mental illness and vulnerability. They also make colorful recycled craft papers.
