About City Archipelago Biophilic Creative Blocks
City Archipelago is an urban district plan for a 15 hectare site in the Zhenru Subcenter of Putuo District, Shanghai. The plan turns a former brownfield area into a mixed district of office, residential and digital innovation functions. Water and green areas work as green infrastructure that helps manage storm floods and improves daily life in the city. Green buildings are arranged in a loose pattern to form islands. Business service facilities along the city trunk road reduce noise and visual distraction.
