About Centrestage 2025 Event Organiser Space
Centrestage 2025 is a four-day fashion event held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The layout spans over 11,000 square metres and includes an interactive entrance hall, six thematic zones and three fashion show stages. More than 40 fashion shows and seminars were presented. A slanted LED wall and a 12 metre wide semi-circular digital wall frame the entrance. A 4 metre tall interactive Power Hub and overhead programmable LED rings combine light, sound and media. Visitors move from the arrival area to the main show hall.
Hong Kong Trade Development Council's Centrestage 2025 Event Organiser Space represents a sophisticated achievement in contemporary exhibition and experiential design, synthesizing architectural scale installation with advanced digital media integration to create an environment that functions simultaneously as brand activation, celebratory commemoration, and immersive visitor experience. The design demonstrates masterful command of radial compositional principles, establishing concentric circular geometries that repeat across horizontal and vertical planes: floor projections emanate outward from the central sculptural focal point while suspended ring structures descend in diminishing sequence overhead, creating spatial resonance and visual coherence throughout the environment. The chromatic strategy proves particularly accomplished, orchestrating a palette of electric cyan, luminous magenta, warm orange, and deep violet that achieves both visual impact and sophisticated harmony through careful attention to complementary and analogous relationships. The central sculptural installation, composed of stacked LED display modules arranged in an ascending crystalline configuration, demonstrates innovative integration of digital content surfaces within three-dimensional architectural form, suggesting contemporary approaches to media architecture where screens transcend flat panel conventions to become volumetric elements. Technical execution evidences high production values in lighting design, surface finish, structural engineering of the suspended elements, and seamless integration of multiple technological systems. The work engages with broader traditions of total environmental design, recalling lineages from theatrical scenography through immersive art installations to contemporary brand experience environments, while establishing its own distinctive visual language appropriate to fashion industry contexts. The celebratory nature of the installation, marking a significant anniversary, finds expression through the expansive scale, luminous materiality, and festive chromatic approach that collectively generate an atmosphere of accomplishment and forward aspiration. Visitors might contemplate how spatial design shapes experiential memory and how environments communicate brand values through purely formal means.

- Dimensions & Packaging
- Spanning over 11,000 sqm, Centrestage 2025 was structured as a dynamic fashion event including an interactive entrance hall, six thematic zones, and three fashion show stages of varying scales, where we featured over 40 fashion shows and seminars during the fair. The spatial journey began at the immersive entrance hall, where LED screens of diverse sizes and geometries framed the arrival experience. A dramatic slanted LED wall and a 12 metre wide semi circular digital surface define the core experience zone. At its heart, a 4 metre tall interactive Power Hub, complemented by overhead programmable LED rings, activated the space with synchronized light, sound and media - creating a powerful, fashion forward environment that transforms circulation into an unforgettable experiential journey.

- Production Technology
- To create a fully immersive spatial experience, LED screens of varying scales and forms are precisely orchestrated along the main entrance hall. The journey began with a dramatic slanted LED wall and a 12 metre wide semi circular digital wall that enveloped the whole experience zone. At its core, a 4 metre tall interactive Power Hub tower with layers of stacking TV screens created the focal point of all. Together with the overhead radiant LED rings, it further energized the space with synchronized light, sound and media - delivering a powerful, fashion forward journey that captivates visitors from arrival to engagement.
- Design Challenge
- Over six months of intensive research, planning and industry trend analysis, the project confronted the challenge of integrating complex architectural elements and digital devices, AI generated content and real time interactivity into a cohesive, emotionally engaging environment. With the limited installation schedule, the design required precise coordination with project team, exhibitors and all consultants, ensuring smooth visitor flow and preserving a strong artistic vision that empowers active participation and spatial storytelling.
- Project Duration
- Centrestage, a 4-day fashion event held from 3th to 6th September 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).
- Operation Flow
- With the process of strategic venue design and thoughtful hall layout study, we balanced the visitors' journey from the overscale, interactive Power Hub entrance hall, through the six thematic zones with different color themes and characteristics, finally arriving at the spectacular fashion show hall for 600 guests. This deliberate sequence transformed visitors into active participants, reinforced the theme of energy awakening and growth, and optimized engagement through efficient crowd flow.
- Research
- By exploring atypical LED display formats, responsive interaction hubs and curated AI driven visual storytelling, the design seamlessly merged physical and digital realms to elevate audience participation, dwell time and experiential impact. A non traditional architectural approach - defined by slanted wall, stacked LED tower and suspended programmable LED rings - changed passive viewing with active engagement. Anchored by the interactive Power Hub, the space transformed visitors into participants, reinforcing themes of energy, growth and the upward momentum of the fashion industry.
- Inspiration
- The inspiration started from translating a decade of transformation into a powerful spatial expression of empowerment. Inner strength was elevated into outward confidence through dynamic energy flow, vibrant blue and orange-red contrasts, and reflective stainless steel surfaces. A luminous central Power Generator visualized growth, momentum, and collective vitality, marking Centrestage's bold evolution and renewed influence within the fashion industry.
