About Bologna Private House
Bologna is a private house interior design located in Haicheng, Liaoning, China. The residence covers 350 square meters and includes three floors and a garden. The design takes its inspiration from Bologna, the capital of Emilia Romagna in northern Italy and the birthplace of Ducati. A restrained, sculptural and post-modern atmosphere was created for a client who admires motorcycles. Marble, black steel, leather, glass and wood are combined in simple tones. A classic Ducati motorcycle forms the main focal point of the interior.

- The owner of this project is a new fashion city upstart and a Ducati enthusiast. He has unique insights and tastes in life. He is eclectic and independent.

- Design Challenge
- The project takes inspiration from contemporary philosophy. We tried to make it a minimalistic design that reflects Italian art and an elegant lifestyle. The main challenge was to harmonically fit the client's passion - motorcycle - inside the interior. The old Italian motorcycle Ducati is the main focal point in the interior. It's a reflection of enthusiasm and paranoia, temperament and passion.
