About Blue Lagoon Iceland Packaging
Blue Lagoon Iceland is a packaging series for a skincare line inspired by the Icelandic landscape. The base material is transparent holographic paper with a Fresnel lens effect. A holographic transfer film is applied to the paper stock, creating fully recyclable Fresnel lens paper. The graphics are printed in CMYK and white to build layers of color. The watercolor artwork and the lens effect together add depth and a pearlescent shimmer. The series covers seven products, from a hydrating spray to a lip balm.

- Production Technology
- Transparent holographic paper with a Fresnel lens effect is used as the base material. The holographic transfer film is applied to the paper stock to create the Fresnel lens effect, resulting in fully recyclable Fresnel lens paper. The graphics are then printed onto the Fresnel lens paper using CMYK and white (W) to achieve layers of color. The result is a combination of the fluidity of layered watercolors with the depth of the lens effect.
