About Blue Coast Sales Office
Blue Coast is a sales office interior in China, covering 2664 square meters. The design combines sales, club and future residential functions in one composite space. The theme Pearl on the Sea draws on the culture of Nansha and on motifs such as lighthouses, fishing nets and tides. Stone, metal, glass, satin and leather are combined with integrated lighting to increase transparency and light refraction. Layered circulation separates first visits, negotiations, fitness and private banquets. Modular planning allows conversion into club spaces after the sales phase.
Guangzhou Dapu Art Design's Blue Coast Sales Office exemplifies the contemporary synthesis of spatial architecture and immersive artistic experience that characterizes the most accomplished commercial interior environments of our era. The design team has orchestrated a remarkable dialogue between the disciplined restraint of the architectural envelope, with its classical references evident in the coffered ceiling and paneled walls rendered in a warm contemporary palette, and the exuberant freedom of the suspended sculptural installation that serves as the space's commanding focal point. This aerial composition of translucent fabric forms, graduating through a spectrum from pale yellows and corals through aqueous blues and soft violets, suggests influences ranging from the kinetic textile works of contemporary installation art to the organic flow studies that have captivated designers across disciplines. The spatial strategy demonstrates sophisticated understanding of ceremonial sequence and experiential choreography, guiding visitors from entry through a carefully calibrated progression of spatial compressions and expansions toward the luminous transparency of the garden view beyond. Material selections reveal thoughtful consideration of sensory hierarchy: the reflective marble flooring amplifies natural light while grounding the composition, the velvet upholstery in rich purple tones invites tactile engagement and intimate conversation, while the ethereal overhead installation encourages upward contemplation and a sense of transcendence above quotidian concerns. The chromatic program achieves balance between warmth and coolness, between saturation and neutrality, creating an environment that feels simultaneously energizing and restful. One might observe how the designers have employed symmetry not as rigid formalism but as a framework for gentle variation, allowing organic furniture forms and asymmetrical floral arrangements to humanize the architectural order. The integration of landscape view through extensive glazing establishes connection to natural cycles and seasonal change, suggesting that commercial transactions here occur within a larger context of natural beauty and temporal flow. How might this environment transform the experience of considering significant decisions?

- Unique Properties
- This project redefines the sales office typology by integrating sales, club, and future residential functions into a seamless composite space. Anchored in the theme "Pearl on the Sea," it merges regional culture, multidimensional light design, modular circulation planning, and sustainable functional transformation. Customized art installations, material light synergy, and vertical spatial structures create a distinctive, immersive, and future oriented lifestyle experience.
- Dimensions & Packaging
- The total area of the project is 2664 square meters. The spatial system includes modular circulation for sales and club functions, high ceilinged glass curtain walls for natural lighting, and independently functionalized zones for fitness, banquet, and social activities. Technical planning includes reserved Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing interfaces, acoustically optimized private areas, and structural adaptability for post sales transformation.

- Production Technology
- The project employs a methodology of "element extraction add scenario based expression," transforming cultural motifs into architectural language. Materials such as stone, metal, glass, satin, and leather are combined to enhance transparency and light refraction. Integrated lighting systems, megastructure pendant fabrication, and modular space planning ensure seamless future functional conversion.
- Design Challenge
- The main challenge was balancing transparency with privacy while integrating sales and club functions. Direct use of cultural symbols risked rigidity, while excessive abstraction weakened identity. Technical constraints included Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing reservation, circulation separation, and material light coordination. The solution combined element extraction, layered zoning, adaptive space design, and controlled lighting to reconcile function, culture, and spatial aesthetics.
- Project Duration
- The project started in January 2025 and finished in September 2025 in China.
- Operation Flow
- The space operates through layered circulation: visitors follow independent routes for first visits, negotiations, fitness, or private banquets without interference. Light, materials, and spatial transitions guide users intuitively, creating a fluid experience. After the sales phase, spaces transform seamlessly into club functions by adjusting soft furnishings, providing long term lifestyle services.
- Research
- This design is based on contextual research into Nansha's cultural history, urban positioning, and user behavior. Methods included site analysis, cultural studies, spatial simulation, and functional prototyping. Data from user interviews and circulation tests informed the planning. Results show enhanced operational efficiency, cultural resonance, and sustainable adaptability, influencing long term community value and regional urban development.
- Inspiration
- The design draws inspiration from Nansha's dual identity as a historic gateway of the Maritime Silk Road and the geometric center of the Greater Bay Area. Cultural symbols such as lighthouses, fishing nets, tides, and flowing light informed the spatial language. Research into regional history, local ecology, and modern urban life led to the conceptual theme "Pearl on the Sea," bridging tradition and contemporary innovation.
