Beauty of Life Academy of China Resource is a sales office located in Shunyi, China. The interior covers 502 square meters and follows the theme of the unbounded. Streamlined curves guide visitors from the lobby through an art gallery, a central exhibition area, a light and shadow gallery and a waterside VIP room. The curves soften the borders between rooms and merge architecture, landscape and interior space. Materials include golden mocha stone, GRG glass fiber board, woodwork, textured paint and stainless steel. The project was completed in August 2019.
Zao Li's Beauty of Life Academy of China Resource Sales Office exemplifies a refined synthesis of contemporary spatial design and organic formal language that has garnered recognition including the prestigious A' Design Award. The work demonstrates mastery in deploying curvilinear glass architecture as both enclosure and experiential mediator, establishing visual and psychological connections between interior programmatic functions and carefully composed landscape elements visible through the sinuous transparent membrane. Technical achievement manifests in the precise engineering of the serpentine curtain wall, whose compound curves required sophisticated structural solutions to achieve the seamless flowing geometry evident in the installation. The parametric ribbed wall surface at right reveals contemporary digital fabrication capabilities harnessed for expressive rather than merely functional ends, its rhythmic undulations creating a dialogue with the glass curves while introducing tactile and visual texture that enriches the spatial experience. Chromatic restraint proves essential to the design's success, allowing material qualities and architectural form to command attention without competition from assertive color, while the integration of warm artificial lighting against cool twilight creates atmospheric sophistication. The composition invites contemplation of threshold conditions—between inside and outside, between natural and constructed, between functional commerce and spatial poetry—suggesting architecture's capacity to elevate quotidian programs into experiential richness. Viewers might consider how the flowing forms evoke natural phenomena such as water, wind, or geological formations, and how such organic references in built environments affect human psychological response and spatial navigation.

- Design Challenge
- How to break through the U-shaped architectural space layout and the plain space experience in design, by creating a space experience of fluidity, rhythm and interest through the use of curves, and blur the sense of fixedness of the traditional physical space boundary, Let light, nature and interior express themselves in different forms and integrate them into one, thus creating an aesthetic art space that uses landscape to read visitors.

- Operation Flow
- Step into the lobby space where you want to promote and suppress, follow the flowing curved lines of art from the art gallery into the central exhibition area, as the curves of nature and light and shadow disappear into the art landscape, and are separated by the streamlined curve The light and shadow gallery space is surrounded by light and shadow along the curve to the water VIP. It dilutes the boundary between space and space, and gives new spatial attributes to flow, nature, light and shadow.

- "Unbounded" first crosses the boundary, and then eliminates the boundary in a soft way. Breaking the inherent rules of traditional sales offices, crossing the boundaries of architecture, landscape, and space, and borrowing streamlined curves, the flow-like separation and convergence will penetrate and merge the boundaries of the three, creating new possibilities.
