About Above the Clouds Scenic Spot
Above the Clouds is a master plan for a mountain resort in Pucheng, Fujian, China. The site lies at a high altitude, close to the clouds, and the name of the plan refers to that setting. Soft, flowing lines taken from cloud forms guide the design. The plan first states development goals and positioning for the resort. The plan then defines the spatial layout and the distribution of land uses to form a single overall scheme. Standard urban planning methods and regulations were applied. The work was completed over one and a half years.

- The project is located in a mountainous area with a high altitude, as if it could touch the clouds at any time. Therefore, it was named above clouds, and the softness and streamline of the clouds also became the inspiration for the design.
