Oblikovalski izziv: The challenge was to maximizing spaciousness towards a small-scale space. The shaping of the social area: The social area has a big beam. To minimize the abruptness and oppressiveness, the design team wrapped it with a curved shape to emphasize the spaciousness of the space. In order to achieve that and create a timeless space, the cohesiveness and harmony within the space is the vital concern during design process.
Raziskave: The linear elements consisting of the curves are comprehensively decorated in the house, in which the simple and neat lines are perceivable on the front, and the graceful curves are perceptible on the side, therefore presenting the intertwining and contrasting aesthetics as well. A large beam spans the entire space, causing a sense of oppression in the small apartment. The space is filled with the stability of the wood accents and the calmness of the stone patterns.Sunlight flows over the space widely, creating a warm and elegant living environment.
