Idan Herbet

Idan Herbet is an industrial designer and the founder of Studio Herbet in Rehovot, Israel. Architects and interior designers bring him in when a project has one central element that no catalogue can supply: a lobby light, a staircase and handrail, a reception counter, a wall or an installation. He works out how it can be built, designs the hidden part that holds it, the structure, joints and method, and leads it through a network of workshops and factories from the drawing to the installation.
