Concord ni icyumba cy'ubumenyi bw'urugo cyateguwe ku ishuri ryisumbuye i Hong Kong. Ahantu hangana na metero kare 1500 hateguwe hakurikije imiterere y'ikizingi (oval), imiterere yahiswemo kugira ngo igaragaze ubumwe n'ugukorana hamwe. Agace ko kwiga kari hagati mu kizingi, mu gihe agace ko koza imyenda, guteka amagati (baking), gutegura ibiryo n'ikawa gashyizwe hirya no hino yako. Amabuye yo hasi (tiles) y'ibara ry'umukara muke, umukara mwinshi, n'ay'ibara ry'igiti agaragaza buri gace kandi akaba ahuriye n'igisenge kizengurutse cy'ibara ry'ubururu bw'ikiyaga. Amabara y'umweru, iy'igiti, n'ubururu bw'ikiyaga bikora ahantu hatuje ho kwiga hamwe no gukorana.

Concord Icyumba cy'Ubumenyi bw'Urugo ni uwegukanye Igihembo cya A' Design Award cya Buronze, ishimwe ry'agaciro gakomeye ritangwa ku bishushanyo by'indashyikirwa birangwa no guhanga, ubwenge n'ubushishozi. Abegukanye Buronze ni ibihangano bifite ubuhanga bwinshi kandi bihanga cyane, bishimangira uburambe, ubwenge n'ubushobozi bw'ababihanze. Concord Icyumba cy'Ubumenyi bw'Urugo biteganyijwe ko izaba ikintu cyubahwa, gishimwa kandi gikundwa, gifite ubunyamwuga n'udushya. Iki gishushanyo cyegukanye Buronze gikoresha uburyo bwiza mu buhanzi, ubumenyi, ubushushanyo n'ikoranabuhanga kandi kirarenze mu gutaha ku tuntu duto. Concord Icyumba cy'Ubumenyi bw'Urugo ishimisha ibyo dukeneye, ikora ku byifuzo byacu, itwara amarangamutima yacu kandi ikurura amatsiko yacu.

Ibintu Bidasanzwe: We believe every student have different potential. Students have various background and ability, there are unlimited possibility inside them. The Home Economics Room is expected to create a safe, inclusive and affiliated atmosphere. The designer choose an oval design that symbolize inclusion and togetherness. Students can use this room to cooperate and complement each other.

Ikibazo cy'Ishusho: The Hong Kong education system is designed to be more quantitative in decades. School environment is uncharacterized and lacks attention to students needs. We think that every space should be user friendly and unique. The designer hope to activates a new learning experience for the students through the oval structure of Home Management room. Through better learning environment, students can learn different skills, build up confidence and develop correct values.
Ubushakashatsi: The one-way communication between teacher and students are not effective and decrease the interest in students to learn. School is not a factory; education should be student based to find out the potential from everyone. The newly designed Home Economics room can increase the efficiency of teaching and learning between teacher and students, as well as looking after individual difference. In the learning process, students develop interpersonal relationship, life skills that prepare them to blend into a harmonious society.
Ibyatumye Habaho: The whole space is structured by an oval. Students learn in this oval room and build up relationship. This design also provides a safe feeling for students. Lake blue curved ceiling increase the feeling of peacefulness. Outside the oval, recessed downlight surrounded everyone to provide warm spacing. We choose white, wood and lake blue as the main color in order to let students feel warm and comfortable while learning.
Igihe cy'Umushinga: The project finished in Feb 2022 in Hong Kong Red Swastika Society Tai Po Secondary School.
Uburyo bw'Imikorere: In terms of planning the space, we divided different areas according to the oval. In the middle of the oval is the learning area. There are different areas outside the oval : the laundry area ,the baking area and the preparation area. The cafe area has professional level coffee machines for students to brew coffee and practice their latte art skills for their professional development. In addition, the designer hide a desk with power socket for the sewing class. The floor tile consists of light grey, dark grey and wood grain ovals to divide different areas. It corresponds the ceiling to increase the interest of space.
