Humming Tree ndi tebulo yodyera yomwe imagwiranso ntchito ngati vase yapansi. Pakamwa kapakati kamakhala ndi maluwa aatali owuma kapena atsopano, masamba ndi nthambi za mitengo. Mapangidwe ake amachokera ku maonekedwe a muzu wa msondodzi wa Taro, wokhala ndi mtsinje wapakati, mitsempha yake ndi lumo losalala. Mapangidwe a tsambali agawidwa m'magawo awiri, gawo la khungu ndi gawo la fupa, ndipo maonekedwe a tsambalo amaoneka pamalo pomwe magawo awiriwa amasakanikirana. Tebuloyi imapangidwa ndi polycarbonate ndi chitsulo ndipo imayeza mamilimita 1400 kutalika, 950 kufutukuka ndi 750 kutalika kwa msinkhu. Mapangidwe owonekera bwino amabweretsa zinthu zachilengedwe pafupi ndi anthu odya m'nyumba za mumzinda.

- Humming Tree is a fusion of dining table and floor vase to hold tall dry or fresh flowers, leaves and tree branches. City life has become mentally exhausting and contact with Nature has become less. The intent is to let the diners experience natural elements arranged in the vase and this will help in reducing stress and negative feelings as they dine. It is a see through design with leaf structure split into two distinct Skin and Bone components. The leaf form becomes apparent when they overlap.

- Benefits of experiencing Nature and natural elements were studied and also the leaf structure of Taro leaf was studied for better understanding while developing the form.
- Chilimbikitso
- Humming Tree is inspired from arrow head shape Taro leaf structure. Taro leaf collects water at its center spot and has distinct midrib and veins structure with clean blade and this inspired me to develop the leaf form into two distinct layers overlapping above each other and elongate and deepen the centre spot till the floor to function as floor vase.
- Mdondomeko ya Ntchito
- The dining table with collection/arrangement in the center spot is a strong stimulus to the diners since the scale is larger than conventional vases kept at the center of table. The human sized arrangement of natural dry/fresh flower, leaves and branches will help in restoring the mind and evoking positive thoughts.
