Over Tang Chao Primaire Functie: Verpakking voor Reisthee

Tang Chao is een verpakkingsontwerp voor reisthee. Het kleine vierkante doosje bevat theebriketten in een compacte vorm die geschikt is om mee te reizen. Het doosje is opgebouwd met een pen-en-gatverbinding, waardoor er geen lijm nodig is. Voor het doosje wordt bamboe gebruikt en voor de buitenverpakking kraftpapier, wat de kosten laag houdt en een milieuvriendelijk resultaat ondersteunt. Een ringgesp en een draagkoord maken het mogelijk om het doosje op te hangen, vast te houden of te dragen. De afgeronde hoeken kunnen bovendien reflexzones op de hand indrukken, een praktijk die is ontleend aan de traditionele Chinese geneeskunde. Het doosje is herbruikbaar.
