In detail, we use line connections to merge earth’s latitudes with electronic tracks, which means bounds of thought and symbolizes more communication. The surrounding and symmetrical structure reflects the image of a cohesive academic community. Overall, the design conveys the brand value of an international, top-tier journal and reflects a sense of mission for the time.

- Research has shown that visual symbols with broad consensus can evoke a common memory and establish a unified perception of a certain figure. Earth is one of such symbols. besides expressing the concept of eco-friendly, the use of the earth as the core element of the organization over a long period of time has built a solid consensus in people's minds that they are socially responsible, international and reliable, which is the main reason why we chose this element for carbon research.

Based on this position, designers finally chosen the earth, commonly used by international organizations as the core element of the brand identity with the carbon atomic structure.
