BTY Brand Identity 로고 및 어플리케이션 소개

BTY 브랜드 아이덴티티는 BTY 그룹을 위해 제작된 로고 및 응용 디자인 프로그램이다. 로고마크는 제네커 세일이 펼쳐지는 순간을 분석적이고 수학적으로 해석한 결과물이다. 또한 이 디자인은 제네커 세일이 요트 경주에 가져온 혁신적 변화를 상징한다. 이 마크는 사람이 기술을 이끄는 미래를 표현한다. 300장이 넘는 연필 스케치를 거친 후 디지털 매체에서 다듬는 과정을 통해 의도한 기하학적 형태에 도달했다. 검정을 주조색으로 하고 밝은 색상들이 이를 보조한다. 흑백 형태는 다양한 재질 위에서도 손쉬운 재현을 가능하게 한다.

고유 특성: BTY’s new logomark is an analytical & mathematical interpretation of the moment a Gennaker Sail gets deployed. It is also inspired by the disruption that a Gennaker sail brought to the sailboat racing world.

This logomark represents the excitement of a
more purposeful future, a future of people leading technology, not the other way around.
치수 및 패키징: A brand identity built using black as the main colour, supported by bright, vivid colours that stand out in an industry full of muted colours

생산 기술: Over 300 sketches done in pencil first. Further refinement in electronic media until desired geometry was achieved.
디자인 과제: We had a clear vision that we needed the brand identity to represent that perfect marriage between technology and the people leading it. We knew the sail racing world was the greatest source of inspiration as radical changes have taken place in sail design.

프로젝트 기간: On going project. New brand identity launched in January. A few different brand touchpoint are still under development.
For example, the revised website is not complete yet. This brand identity is being rolled out across four continents.
운영 흐름: By being designed in black and white the logo can be implemented in a different set of substrates and colours that are appropriate not just to all cultures, but it also becomes easy to reproduce everywhere regardless of any technical restrictions by printers in each location.
