Love Veggie レストランのインテリアデザインについて

Love Veggieは、マカオに位置する約350平方メートルのベジタリアンレストランのインテリアです。このデザインは、よく知られた地域の伝統を現代的な空間へと昇華させています。コンセプトの中心となるのは、仏教と深く結びついた形である蓮です。蓮のイメージは素材、パターン、フォルムへと translated——レーザーカットされたゴールドカラーの金属が蓮の文様を描き出し、滑らかなブルーの張地と木の突板が自然で優雅な性格を添えています。特注のフィーチャー照明が空間の主役となる要素を形づくっています。インテリアは、静謐な雰囲気を生み出すことを意図しています。

独自の特性: Bringing a Macau well known tradition veggie restaurant into 21st century, this new branch restaurant is designed to provoke the senses through a series of lotus form. From this inspiration, the design team converted lotus image to the materials, patterns and forms.

デザインの課題: The main featured lighting is the most challenge, especially the custom made procedure of fabrication and installation. Also need to be resolved the weight of the featured lighting during installation.

What is more, by enhancing the details of the lotus, which is deeply related to the Buddhism, the design team have generated an extraordinary calm atmosphere of the restaurant.
