About Selftea Macchina Automatica per il Tè
Selftea è una macchina automatica per il tè progettata per preparare il tè turco. Un sistema a doppia camera riproduce il tradizionale metodo della doppia teiera, con un serbatoio d'acqua da 2,5 litri e una teiera da 1,5 litri. Un meccanismo scorrevole trasferisce l'acqua bollente nella teiera per l'infusione, senza alcun intervento manuale. Il controllo della temperatura e i cicli di infusione automatizzati gestiscono i tempi di preparazione. Il flusso d'acqua può essere regolato per modificare l'intensità del tè. Acciaio inossidabile e vetro resistente al calore garantiscono durata e sicurezza. Il corpo compatto misura 250 per 210 per 363 millimetri.

Socially, tea is a cultural ritual, making user acceptance crucial. Externally, technological limitations, material selection, and production feasibility posed challenges. Through rigorous R&D, smart automation, and material innovation, these obstacles were successfully overcome.

- Our process began with field research, user studies, and R&D testing, ensuring a deep understanding of traditional Turkish tea making and user expectations. The design journey was highly iterative, involving numerous sketches, prototypes, and extensive team discussions. Through collaboration and continuous refinement, we transformed insights into a functional, user friendly product that seamlessly integrates tradition with modern automation. This project is a true team effort, shaped by research and innovation.

- The Automatic Turkish Tea Maker is an innovative gadget designed to simplify a lot of the hard work
required by the traditional method of brewing with ease and speed. It automates the entire process
to give the real Turkish tea without any kind of manual effort. - Project Duration
- The project began in 2022 in Istanbul and was completed in January 2025. Following extensive research, prototyping, and user testing, the final design successfully integrates automation with the traditional Turkish tea brewing method. The product is now prepared for mass production and is expected to be introduced to the market soon, offering an innovative and effortless tea-making experience.
