Designer of the Day Interview

17 May 2023

I am a civil engineer with a passion for architecture and minimalism, I will be known famous for my larger-than-life design concepts that have come to life in projects such as The Address Food Hall, Cedar, and the Tr88House projects. My ultimate aim is to build interiors that are seemingly impossible and challenge the basic laws of physics and design to bring them to life.

I first became acquainted with this field when I was young. My uncle was an architect, and my father was a builder, therefore my family was interested in the design and construction world. I usually like physics, geometry, and riddles as a child. I got admitted into the local university's Departmentof civil engineering since I was also quite proficient in math and physics. My studies in this area gave me knowledge of buildings that would be useful to me as an architect. Although I don't hold a formal architectural degree, I did learn the subject through coursework, internships, and a lot of reading. I discovered the potential for building strange constructions from this point on.

My design strategy is to approach every project to produce a sequence, a planet, or a location in a distinctive, weird, wonderful, and slightly alien manner. Each of our projects has been inspired by a forest that has been surrealistically embellished with a variety of exaggerations and has its unique theme and form dependent on the climate and intended use of the project. I enjoy inviting people into the environments I create, letting them use my imagination to explore them, and letting them take in the beauty of the settings as I have imagined them. The target audience and the client's preferences will have a significant impact on the design style, thus it is obvious that the style will vary depending on the demands of each project.

When a challenge arises, I enjoy formulating strategies for solving it and formulating plans for developing a subject and bringing it to a satisfactory finish. I take a paternalistic approach to all of my endeavors and inventions, nurturing them all the way through and making an attempt to aid in their growth.

I believe that a variety of elements, including education and training, experience and exposure to the real world, cultural and artistic influences, technological know-how, sustainability and environmental awareness, client collaboration and communication skills, problem-solving and analytical thinking, among others, help to shape an architect's design perspective and aid in the creation of distinctive and meaningful architectural solutions.

In the future, I hope to create all unique items in addition to working as an architect and gaining expertise in the design industry across a range of project types and sizes. I have a strong passion for creating toys for kids. I'm working on a concept project called Time Capsule that is intended to teach kids especially in challenging circumstances. In Dubai, my team and I are developing a warehouse, among other things. Additionally, we are building a factory. Our current projects outside of Dubai include a 54,000 square meter residential skyscraper, a few villas, and an expansion of my furniture company, DecoZ.

I don't trust advise because I think it's best to try things on your own, even if they don't work out. The finest advice I have ever received, though, is to work hard and never give up, if I had to choose. To any aspiring designer, my first piece of advise would be to behave in accordance with your interests. For instance, it takes a lot of bravery to come up with and carry out the type of initiatives that we undertake. Second, become an authority in your field. To effectively offer our ideas to customers, we need to be well-versed in a variety of architectural software and presentation techniques.

I believe it's vital to stay current with trends and methods. Attend workshops, explore new tools and software, and read books and blogs. Collaborating together with other designers, artists, and architects may teach them new techniques and viewpoints. Building a network of connections that can open up new possibilities is another benefit. Also, don't be averse to taking chances.

Since I get up early, I often work and design nonstop from morning till night. I usually read the morning news about my industry and then spend the rest of the day working on office tasks. I also create new components and products every day. For me, design is equally important to enjoyment.

Design trends, in my opinion, may have a huge influence on how consumers perceive and engage with products and services, as well as how they appear and feel. It's crucial to remember that design trends are neither the beginning nor the end of design. It's possible to produce compelling designs that are both effective and non-trendy. When they assist designers stay current and competitive and when they clarify how customers should engage with a product or service, design trends may be beneficial. My goal is to create my own product category and pleasant well-liked items in a family-friendly manner. Nevertheless, a lot of things have distinctive designs. But I grow and develop with time, whether it is in architectural projects or product design.

People may have varying perspectives and tastes when it comes to design, making it difficult to objectively assess if a project or product is properly designed. Good design should not only be useful but also aesthetically beautiful. This encompasses things like visual hierarchy, color, typography, and layout.

I believe that when a design is ready will be determined by a number of criteria, including the project's complexity, the client's needs, and the architect's experience and ability. Regular design reviews and iterations, as well as excellent communication with all stakeholders, may assist guarantee that the design is ready for construction.

We used large-size consoles with 2 cm sheets at The Address Food Hall. The Cedar project contains 279 axis columns, none of which are in a straight line, and is substantially different from the traditional axing process. Only 81 of these columns make it all the way to the ground. Address Food Hall Project had another site at first, but the restaurant location moved and the motif became irrelevant. In 2016, I altered the design, and the new idea of the space went into effect. The design was thought to be difficult to implement, but a week later, I persuaded them that I could do it, and the project began. This endeavor was a turning point in my career. Then, I was given a 12,000 square foot industrial design job with the fantastical idea of an iron forest. To come up with an innovative idea for this project, I extensively drew on both my architectural and civil engineering backgrounds. This area attracted a lot of attention and went on to win several accolades on a global scale.

My favorite designer is Richard Meier. I always find his architectural choices to be commendable in all of his projects, and I appreciate him in all of his endeavors. I have always admired his inventive and practical thinking.

I live in both Dubai and Tehran. In my opinion, you may get inspiration and inspiration from previously created works by looking about and learning about any location's and culture's traditions, and then use those elements to create a design's atmosphere. I believe that the creation of comparable works will come from drawing inspiration from one's own and other people's design work, but it is helpful to look at the works and consider their techniques in the beginning of the journey. And, Prague will be my inspiring city for sure. I believe Prague is a desirable location for architects seeking inspiration and new ideas for their work. Prague has a unique urban landscape, with narrow streets, hidden courtyards, and picturesque bridges that offer a variety of perspectives for architects to explore.

My belief It's crucial to keep in mind that different geographical areas, architectural movements, and individual practitioners might have diverse architecturalcultures and business philosophies. However, despite managing the operational facets of running an architectural company, the overall objective is to produce meaningful, sustainable, and socially responsible design. With the efforts and efforts of my colleagues, they are present in our architectural studio, and we develop all projects together as Zomorrodi & Associates.

I think designers, artists, and architects often offer their services pro bono or at reduced rates to nonprofit organizations, community projects, or individuals in need. This can involve designing public spaces, creating art installations, or providing architectural solutions for social causes and It's important to note that the specific philanthropic contributions made by individuals in these fields can vary greatly based on their personal interests, resources, and areas of expertise. Each individual has the opportunity to make a positive impact in their own unique way.

I think Winning an A’ Design Award in the architecture category provides architects with recognition and prestige in the design industry. It highlights their talent, creativity, and innovative approach to architecture, enhancing their professional reputation.

Design Legend Interview

6 June 2023

My design philosophy is to approach every project to produce a sequence, a planet, or a location in a distinctive, weird, wonderful, and slightly alien manner. Each of our projects is like a forest that has been surrealistically embellished with a variety of exaggerations, each with its unique theme and form depending on the location and intended purpose of the project. I enjoy inviting people into the environments I create, letting them use my imagination to explore them, and letting them take in the beauty of the settings as I have imagined them. The target audience and the client's preferences will have a significant impact on the design style, thus it is obvious that the style will vary depending on the demands of each project. As a kid, I loved geometry, physics, and solving puzzles. I was also very good at mathematics and physics and was accepted into the Civil Engineering Department of the local University. This part of my education helped me understand structures, which in turn could be used as an architect. I do not have a formal architectural degree, but I learned architecture by taking courses, internships, and reading a lot.

My passion for design and desire to make visually appealing and helpful environments that improve people's lives frequently serve as my driving forces. Others could be motivated by a desire to address challenging issues and push the limits of what is practical in the built world. Each architect's inspiration will ultimately be distinct to their own experiences and interests.

I first became acquainted with this field when I was young. My uncle was an architect, and my father was a builder, therefore my family was interested in the design and construction world. I entered the world of design and architecture based on interest and without any pressure.

I enjoy designing all the little details and objects, and I'm continually growing better at it. I am interested in generating anything from homes and residential and architectural projects to furniture and gadgets, as well as various types of lighting and jewelry. One of my objectives has also been to create toys for kids.

I believe by researching the works of illustrious designers, picking up tips from them about techniques, styles, and philosophies, and then experimenting with various styles and processes until they develop their distinctive voice. They should also pay particular attention to the small print in their designs, including the typeface and color schemes.

A talented designer may produce designs that are functional and visually beautiful. A great designer, however, goes above and beyond to produce designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also efficiently solve complicated problems, convey ideas, and arouse emotions. Excellent designers have a thorough grasp of psychology, user experience, and design concepts. They stand out from other performers in the field thanks to their distinctive voice and style. Great designers are always working to advance their abilities and remain abreast of the newest design trends and technology. They can work well with clients, team members, and other professionals to realize their vision since they are also outstanding communicators and collaborators.

A good design is both visually beautiful and useful, successfully communicating the intended message to the target audience. A truly excellent design goes above and above by being creative, memorable, and timeless.

A business or organization may gain a lot from good design, which offers a variety of advantages. Everyone should invest in good design for a variety of reasons, including appeal, branding, user experience, communication, innovation, and timelessness. A stronger brand identity, higher income, and better customer happiness can all result from investing in quality design. It is a crucial component of every effective company plan.

My dream in life is to create an incredible tower for people that truly enjoy weird things, with unexpected uses on several levels. I also have a project proposal that combines theatrical with architecture, and I'm looking for investors.

I intend on creating a structure that will stand as a landmark and represent a city or a nation, as well as an eco-friendly neighborhood that has cutting-edge architecture and technology. I also want to develop a museum or library that will inspire and educate future generations.

I believe a variety of elements contribute to a design project's success, including the designer's knowledge and expertise, the caliber of the tools and resources employed, and the capacity to satisfy the requirements and expectations of the client and final consumers.

Richard Meier, Cecil Balmond, Mies van der Rohe, and Zaha Hadid.

Sydney Opera House, Seagram Building, Pavilion in Zaragoza, Frie Otto Munich stadium, Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art. With shape, materials, spatial organization, or methods, they were all pushing the limits of what was possible in design at the time.

I like all my projects, but I don’t love them, because there is always space to improve and be better. Each project has its challenge for me. But there are a few that are a little more exciting for certain reasons, like the Tr88House, The Address Food hall because it was my first commercial project, Cedar for being respectful to the nature of the location, Simurgh for showcasing the culture and history of the people of Iran.

To get a deeper knowledge and comprehension of the subject, people should routinely practice, learn from others, obtain feedback, remain current with trends, cooperate with others, attend workshops and conferences, and study books and articles. These phases, which are crucial for good design, can be completed by constantly practicing, picking up tips from others, gaining feedback, remaining current with trends, working with others, going to workshops and conferences, and reading books and articles.

You should know that I love what I do and that if I weren't a designer, I would be a director or a writer because I like to surprise my audiences with the ideas I have for my movies.

Design is the process of creating and planning products, services, or systems to improve their look, function, and usability. It involves understanding user needs, identifying problems, generating ideas, and developing prototypes. It can be applied to various fields, aiming to improve the quality of life for individuals and society.

Design is the process of creating and planning products, services, or systems to improve their look, function, and usability. It involves understanding user needs, identifying problems, generating ideas, and developing prototypes. It can be applied to various fields, aiming to improve the quality of life for individuals and society.

My curiosity, paired with a clear vision of what I want to achieve in my designs, and then working hard to keep exploring and developing these ideas, is the recipe I've been employing to get to where I am today.

Common difficulties that designers may run into include learning new skills, securing chances, handling criticism, establishing a reputation, juggling creativity with customer demands, and being inspired and motivated. These challenges may help people grow personally and professionally and are a necessary component of the learning process. To become a design master, one must be persistent, resilient, and dedicated to ongoing progress.

Because each concept is unique, each one demands a particular presenting format and medium. I combine several techniques, including drawings, renderings, 3D printed models, mood boards, etc. Whatever is necessary to convey the message.

My architectural firm is now engaged in several projects, including the design of a sizable residential complex, the design of a commercial office art center in St. Kitts as a symbol, various residential and residential projects, as well as a factory in Dubai. All of the various things are also being designed by us.

Become able to create products and projects for the users and make them enjoy them.

Designers must exhibit originality, technical competence, ability to solve problems, communication skills, a user-centric perspective, professionalism, and ethical standards.

The design has the potential to shape a better society by addressing social, environmental, and economic challenges, fostering innovation, and improving the well-being of individuals and communities.

The creation of particular objects, such as vases, parquet, unique building components, and the symbolic project of St. Kitts, is now extremely appealing and exciting to me.

Create a skyscraper that is amazing and has unique uses on many levels.

To become more inclusive and culturally sensitive, I believe the design industry should aim for more diversity and inclusion, promote sustainability and ethical design, enhance design education, and give priority to human-centered design methods.

Designers may focus on sustainable, digital, inclusive, data-driven, AI, collaborative, and ethical design solutions.

It is not possible to give an exact answer to this question because it depends on many factors and conditions in each project.

Designers should follow a systematic process to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements and lay the foundation for their work.

As a Designer, I believe I should develop a personal credo that expresses my own beliefs, objectives, and the influence I hope to make via my design work.

Trends impact designers by defining expectations and developing a design language, while designers can question current standards and push limits.

When I start a design, one of my key needs is always technology. Technology is a fantastic instrument that has been created...

I frequently utilize Rhino, Shaper 3D, and other design and modeling applications, and I adore drawing with a pencil.

Color, materials, and ambient components all work together to create a holistic and immersive design experience, elicit emotions, transmit messages, improve usability, and form user impressions.

I prefer to be questioned about design intent, functionality, user experience, context integration, sustainable design, and environmental effect. To participate in a broader discourse, architects appreciate inquiries about energy efficiency, aesthetic choices, and community and societal effect.

When I witness a new amazing design or product, designers have a variety of emotions, including inspiration, analysis, problem-solving, emotional involvement, curiosity, and motivation. These emotions inspire their creative thinking, impact our design approach, and contribute to their professional development as designers.

The ideal design partner is a matter of opinion and relies on project objectives and personal preferences, but they should have good communication and cooperation skills, complementary knowledge and abilities, a common vision and values, mutual trust and respect, and a willingness to engage in co-design.

Certainly, my coworkers and friends have an impact on me, but employer demands may also have an impact on the design process.

Yuval Noah Harari Collection 3 Books Set had the most effect on me.

According to my perspective, in order to advance my talents and keep current with design trends, I as a master designer must pursue formal education, experience, mentoring, feedback, self-reflection, and lifelong learning.

Norman Foster, Le Corbusier, Antoni Gaudí, or Ludwig Mies van der Rohe.

I believe awards and recognition can bring validation and pride, boost reputation and career prospects, and provide architects with creative freedom and exploration.

Yellow, Prague, Fajita, Winter, Lego, Apple.

Successes and failures have been a part of my story up until this point. My first design was a TV table, which the customer didn't like, but that didn't stop me. But when my landlord at the time saw my concepts and sketches, he was quite impressed. The Address Food Hall project team was presented to me by him.

By working on my professional growth, collaborating with others, inspiring myself through my surroundings, setting objectives and marking accomplishments, and connecting with internal motivation, I may maintain my motivation.

Whether a person will grow up to be a brilliant designer or choose a different professional route is not always obvious. It's critical to have an open mind to new possibilities, follow one's passions, and seize the chances for development and fulfillment that present themselves along the path. A person's future course may be influenced by their desires and interests in childhood.

It is hard to say; given how quickly the world is being destroyed, it's feasible that we won't even be here.

I am a person who dislikes dealing with concepts in a conventional manner. I try to ponder and explore topics that are difficult to obtain and impossible to produce. I prefer to believe that others are afraid to take on difficult problems and come up with original solutions, like making games. I enjoy designing, but I also enjoy reading and watching movies. My favorite authors are Yuval Noah Harari and David Fincher, and I love seeing his films.
But ultimately, you need to know that I love what I do and that if I hadn't chosen to be a designer, I would have gone on to become a director or a screenwriter. I would astonish the audience by revealing what is on my mind.

Designer Interview

2 March 2024

My introduction to this field started as a child. My family was into the design and build environment – my uncle was an architect and my father a building contractor. This is where I learned of the possibilities for creating unusual structures.

Our company is a leading architectural firm with a global presence, offering multi-disciplinary architectural and design consultancy services. With offices in Dubai and Tehran, we are well-positioned to serve clients across the Middle East and beyond. At the helm of our firm is our founder, Shahrooz Zomorrodi, who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team. With his leadership, we have built a strong reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Our diverse portfolio spans various sectors such as residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality. We work closely with our clients to understand their unique requirements and create bespoke, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs. As a multi-disciplinary firm, we bring together experts from various fields such as architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, and engineering to deliver comprehensive solutions that are tailored to each project. Our commitment to sustainability is evident in our approach to design, where we strive to minimize our environmental impact while maximizing the benefits to our clients and communities. We believe that sustainable design is responsible and essential for creating a better future for all.

As an architect, “design” refers to creating a plan or blueprint for a building or structure that meets the client's needs and requirements while also considering factors such as functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and safety. It involves conceptualizing, visualizing, and communicating ideas through drawings, models, and other forms of representation. Design is a critical aspect of architecture as it is the foundation for the construction and realization of a project.

I might enjoy designing different types of buildings and structures, such as residential homes, commercial buildings, cultural centers, museums, schools, hospitals, and public spaces. Also, I may enjoy designing sustainable, eco-friendly buildings or experimenting with new materials and construction techniques. Ultimately, I think the type of work a designer enjoys designing most may depend on their personal interests, values, and experience.

It has to be designing public spaces since it’s visited by a large number of people. I was seated in the Tr88House project and a pedestrian who passed by suddenly stopped and entered the premises. He immediately proceeds to take pictures of the space enthralled by the effect. This is what I think is a designer’s job, to be able to invite people into the spaces that they design and have an architectural surprise packed in them, which is more likely to create that curiosity in these public projects.

My story is full of successes and failures… until today. My first design was of a TV Table, which the client did not like, but that didn’t stop me. However, my landlord at the time saw my sketches and projects and was very impressed. He introduced me to The Address Food Hall project team. This project initially had another location and I had conceptualized it in a 1940s-style aircraft factory theme. But then the restaurant location changed and the theme was not relevant anymore. I changed the design and the current concept of the space came into action in 2016. The design was considered impossible to execute, but a week later, I assured them that I could make it possible and the project started. This project became a turning point in my career.

Concrete is my preferred design material, and my preferred media outlets include Arch Daily, Architizer, Design Boom, and De Zeen. My preferred technology is architectural software modeling.

Frequently following lonely moments and nightmares that occur to everyone during the day.

Based on the design theme that exists in every project, I focus on its details because in my opinion, details are the most important part of any design and these details are the builder of a design.

When a difficulty presents itself, I delight in thinking about ways to overcome it and developing procedures for developing a topic and bringing it to a satisfying conclusion.

I treat all of my projects and creations with a sense of paternity, tending to them to the very end and making an effort to help them develop.

A successful design is one that not only meets the client's needs and requirements but also considers other important factors such as functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, and safety. It should be innovative, creative, and unique while also being practical and feasible to implement. A successful design should also be able to withstand the test of time and adapt to changing needs and trends. Additionally, a successful design should be able to communicate its intended message effectively and evoke a positive emotional response from its users and viewers. Overall, a successful design achieves its intended purpose and delivers value to its users and stakeholders.

1. Functionality: Does the design meet the intended purpose and function effectively?
2. Aesthetics: Is the design visually appealing and attractive?
3. Usability: Is the design easy to use and navigate?
4. Innovation: Does the design offer a unique and creative solution?
5. Sustainability: Does the design take into consideration environmental impact and resource conservation?
6. Safety: Does the design ensure the safety of its users?
7. Adaptability: Can the design adapt to changing needs and trends?
8. Communication: Does the design effectively communicate its intended message?
9. Emotional response: Does the design evoke a positive emotional response from its users and viewers?
I think considering these aspects will help us determine whether a design is successful or not.

Creating designs that are sustainable and environmentally friendly, Ensuring that designs do not harm people, animals, or the environment, Using materials that are safe and non-toxic, Promoting social responsibility and ethical practices in design, Encouraging diversity and inclusivity in design, Educating clients and consumers about the importance of sustainable design, Supporting local communities and economies by sourcing materials and labor locally, Collaborating with other professionals to create solutions that benefit society and the environment. I think by fulfilling these responsibilities, designers can contribute to a more sustainable and equitable world.

based on current trends and advancements in technology, the design field is evolving towards more sustainable and ethical practices. There is a growing awareness of the impact of design on society and the environment, and designers are being called upon to create solutions that address these issues. The future of design is likely to be shaped by advancements in technology, such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality, which will enable designers to create more immersive and interactive experiences. Additionally, there will likely be a greater emphasis on inclusivity and diversity in design, as well as a focus on creating solutions that benefit marginalized communities.

My last exhibition was in Index Dubai in 2022 and I am trying to make my next exhibition in Italy.

My design approach is to face each project to create a sequence, a planet, or a location in a unique, weird, magical, and a little transcendental way. This tends to look at issues from a surrealistic point of view. Most of our projects have an element of exaggeration, and these are based on my special interests in forests, which I try to showcase as often as I can. I like to invite people to explore the city that I create, and its forests, and share my imagination and make them see the beauty of these places the way that I pictured it. The style varies based on the needs of each project – the target customers and the flavor of the client greatly affect the design style. For example, for public spaces, my design style is usually shaped by the laws of nature.

I have residences in Dubai and Tehran. I think that by looking around and learning about any place and culture, you may find ideas and influences from the works that have been produced and employ them by the design's mood. The production of comparable works will, in my opinion, result from pulling inspiration from individual and other people's design work, but looking at the works and analyzing their approaches is useful at the start of the route.

I work with companies in a variety of ways, depending on the nature of the company and its needs for example: Designing office spaces, consulting on building projects, creating branding and marketing materials, and developing sustainable solutions … Overall, an architect can work with companies in a variety of ways to help them achieve their goals and improve their operations. By leveraging their design expertise, we can help companies create spaces and solutions that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

I don't have special personal opinions but here are some suggestions for companies to work with a designer and select a good designer: 1. Define your needs 2. Look at their portfolio 3. Check references 4. Communicate 5. Provide feedback

In my opinion, the design process in architecture involves several steps, including programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. Throughout the design process, I must consider factors such as functionality, aesthetics, sustainability, safety, and cost-effectiveness. They must also communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that everyone is on the same page.

I may consider favorites items in my home include comfortable furniture, stylish lighting fixtures, decorative artwork or wall hangings, functional storage solutions, and personalized accessories or decor items that reflect my personality or interests.

I think a day in someone's life may include waking up, getting ready for the day, going to work, completing tasks and responsibilities, engaging in hobbies or leisure activities, spending time with friends or family, and winding down before going to bed. Mine is the same...

I do not believe in advice because it is better to experiment even if it leads to failure. But if I were to pick, I would say the best advice I have ever gotten is to work and never give up. My first-ever advice to upcoming designers would be to follow your interests and act according to them. For example, the kind of projects that we take up needs a lot of courage to ideate and execute. Secondly, become an expert in what you do. We need to be well-versed in different architectural software and presentation methods to be able to show our ideas to clients.

Based on common perceptions and experiences:
Positives:
- Creative expression: Designers have the opportunity to express their creativity and bring their unique ideas to life.
- Impactful work: Designers can create products, graphics, and experiences that have a meaningful impact on people's lives.
- Constant learning: Designers are often exposed to new technologies, trends, and techniques, which can lead to continuous learning and growth.
- Flexibility: Many designers have the ability to work remotely or freelance, which can offer flexibility in their schedule and location.
Negatives:
- Subjectivity: Design is subjective, so it can be challenging to receive feedback or criticism on work that is deeply personal.
- Pressure: Designers often work under tight deadlines and high expectations, which can be stressful.
- Burnout: The creative process can be exhausting, and designers may experience burnout from constantly generating new ideas.
- Limited job opportunities: The job market for designers can be competitive, and job opportunities may be limited in certain areas or industries.

The "golden rule" in design is to treat others as you would like to be treated. This means designing products, services, and experiences that are user-centered, intuitive, and accessible. It involves considering the needs, preferences, and limitations of the end users and creating solutions that meet their expectations and exceed their needs. The golden rule also includes ethical considerations, such as respecting privacy, avoiding harm, and promoting sustainability. Ultimately, the golden rule is about creating designs that enhance people's lives and make the world a better place.

Creativity and imagination, Strong visual and aesthetic sense, Good communication skills, Ability to understand and interpret client needs, Proficiency in design software and technology, Attention to detail, Problem-solving skills, Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines, Flexibility, and adaptability, Continuous learning, and improvement are the most important issues.

I use Rhino and Shaper 3D and other design and modeling software a lot, and I always enjoy sketching with a pencil.

I think before starting any design project, set clear goals and priorities. This will help me stay focused and avoid wasting time on unnecessary tasks. Also, there are many time management tools available that can help me stay organized and focused. I can use tools like Trello, Asana, or Todoist to manage my tasks and deadlines.

It depends on various factors such as the complexity of the object, the design process, the resources available, and the experience of the designer. Some objects may take a few hours to design while others may take weeks or even months. It's important to prioritize quality over speed when designing an object and allocate enough time to ensure that the final product meets the desired standards.

They usually asked me ‘’What has been the most exciting or challenging project of your entire career?’’

In The Address Food Hall, we implemented large-size consoles with 2 cm sheets. The Cedar project has 279 axis columns, none in a line, and is very different from the normal axing method. Only 81 of these columns reach the ground.

88Alpha, Prime Developments of Saint Kitts, Kerman Motor Group, Meraas, Iran Mall and Kariz, Kooik Mart L.L.C, …

I have been very passionate about designing toys for children. I have a concept project called Time Capsule, a concept designed to educate children specifically in unfavorable conditions.

As a designer, I would like to design all special objects in the future, and also as an architect, I would like to gain experience in the field of design in different divisions and in various scales of projects.

With the efforts and efforts of my colleagues, they are present in our architectural studio, and we develop all projects together as Zomorrodi & Associates.

The team and I are designing some projects in Dubai, like a warehouse equipped. We are also working on a factory. Outside of Dubai, we are working on a 54,000-square-meter residential building and some villas, and we are expanding my furniture brand DecoZ, which is another work in progress.

They can contact us by checking our website which is www.zomorrodi-associates.com and also on other media such as LinkedIn and Instagram.

In the end, what you must know about me is that my job is my passion, and if not a designer, I would have become a director and a scriptwriter. I would show the audience what’s in my mind, and create an element of surprise in my films.
