Tentang Wild Rhythm Balai Pameran

Wild Rhythm adalah sebuah balai pameran di Chongqing, Tiongkok. Interiornya seluas 240 meter persegi dan juga dapat berfungsi sebagai galeri, bar, atau ruang hunian. Semen, baja, dan cat menjadi material utama, dengan penggunaan metode tradisional yang sederhana di seluruh bagian. Lantai kedua ditambahkan pada area yang ketinggian plafonnya memungkinkan, dan tangga spiral dibangun mengelilingi kolom struktural yang sudah ada. Sebuah ruang penyimpanan ditempatkan di atas bar untuk menambah luas area yang dapat digunakan. Rancangan ini mengembalikan ruang pada elemen bangunan yang paling mendasar serta mengurangi dekorasi dan pemborosan yang tidak perlu.

Keunikan: Compared with the traditional household exhibition hall, designers are not rigidly placing each simulation cell in the space. And at the beginning of the design, their product positioning is like its brand name, meaning growing wildly, they don't have the limitation of the product line, giving more freedom to the space. In the space, you can regard it as an exhibition hall, and you can also regard it as a gallery, a bar, even a residential accommodation.
Dimensi & Kemasan: The project covers 240 square meters. The biggest advantage of the original space is that its story height is relatively high, but a large column in the middle of the original building destroys the integrity of the original space. In addition to the construction of the second floor, designers also built a scenario spiral stair around the original structural column, and set up the storage room through the empty high relationship on the bar, increasing its layering sense and actual use space.

Teknologi Produksi: Just because this is a pure space, all design intents are derived from basic demands of life, so in the aspect of material usage, designers will return to the essence of architecture as far as possible. Then cement, steel and paint are the materials they use the most, the craft is also as simple and traditional as possible. All the planning is just for returning to the most basic building level so as to reduce unnecessary waste and superposition.
Tantangan Desain: Although some space of the building is relatively high, we cannot carry out construction of the second floor in the whole space due to the influence of beam mesh, smoke exhaust and fire fighting equipment. And the space that can be built is separated by piecemeal. So we made full use of the complex spatial foundation, and we have created a variety of spatial forms in a relatively limited space through the setting of stairs, thus creating conditions for the later construction of atmosphere.
Riset: In the commercial society, and even the whole society, there is a surplus of consumption, which virtually produces a great waste of resources. And people who live in the environment seem to have slowly forgotten the essence of life. Therefore, designers hope that the pure space can arouse people's rethinking of life. Finally, the space becomes basic and simple, the decoration and the architecture are integrated, and the design and selection of the furniture are also based on actual use.
Inspirasi: The inspiration originates from the residential living environment of designers' childhood, because of shortage of material, all parts of families are derived from the basic needs of life. With the development of economy and the accumulation of material, people begin to tend to be exaggerated and wasteful. So, designers hope the furniture are the products from thinking about the practical aspects, and the space also returns to the most basic requirements from the perspective of buildings.
Durasi Proyek: The project started in September 2018 in Chongqing and finished in July 2019 in Chongqing.
Alur Operasi: Pure is the most fundamental reason of finishing the project completely. From the beginning of the design, designers integrated the decoration with the building, which effectively ensured that the project was not affected too much in the implementation process. Thus, ensured a perfect realization of the design intention.
