ʻO Arc One he hopena noho hoʻomaha i hana ʻia mai kahi ʻili metala pelu hoʻokahi me ka ʻole o ka huila a i ʻole ka hoʻopili ʻana. Ke hōʻemi nei ka hoʻolālā i ka paʻakikī a me ke kumukūʻai o ka hana ʻana, a hiki nō hoʻi ke hoʻāhu ʻia a halihali ʻia me ke kau pū ʻana. He uluna ʻili lawe ʻia ka mea e hiki ai ke hoʻololi i nā waihoʻoluʻu, hoʻohou maʻalahi, a hoʻolōʻihi i ke ola o ka huahana ma o ka hiki ke kūpono i ka manawa lōʻihi.

E Pili Ana i ka A' Design Award Kala
Ua lanakila ka hoʻolālā Arc One Noho Hoʻomaha i ka A' Design Award Kala, he ʻike hoʻohanohano nui loa i hāʻawi ʻia i nā hoʻolālā kiʻekiʻe loa, nani a kupaianaha. He mau hana ʻālohilohi loa a hana noʻeau nui nā lanakila Kala e hōʻike ana i ka loea, ka makakoho a me ka ʻoi aku o ka noʻonoʻo o kā lākou poʻe hoʻolālā. Manaʻo ʻia ʻo ka hoʻolālā Arc One Noho Hoʻomaha he hana kupaianaha, kūlana ʻoi aku, ʻoihana kiʻekiʻe a hou loa. ʻO kēia hoʻolālā i lanakila i ka A' Design Award Kala he mea hoʻokumu kūpono loa, mahalo ʻia e hāʻawi i ka pōmaikaʻi a hoʻoneʻe i nā palena o ka hana noʻeau, ka ʻepekema, ka hoʻolālā a me ka ʻenehana. He mea i ʻeleu ʻia e nā mea he nui ka hoʻolālā Arc One Noho Hoʻomaha e hoʻāla i ka makemake, lawe mai i nā manaʻo maikaʻi a hoʻāla i ka kamahaʻo a me ka mahalo.

- Arc One is a lounge chair formed from a single bent sheet metal surface, eliminating welding or assembly. It reduces production complexity while enabling efficient stacking for storage and transport. The removable leather cushion is fixed with snap fasteners integrated into strap details. Its fluid form, shaped by a refined balance of geometry and fluidity, creates a modern, sophisticated, and timeless presence, adding a distinct sense of style to a wide range of interior environments.
- Nā Ana a me ka Hoʻopili
- Material: Sheet metal body with removable leather cushion.
Structure: Single-piece construction, no assembly.
Versions: Lounge chair and stool.
Designed for indoor use, lightweight, durable and stackable for efficient storage and transportation.

- The body is manufactured from sheet metal using only laser cutting and CNC bending processes. No welding or mechanical assembly is required. The cushion is separately produced with upholstered leather and designed to be attached onto the metal structure. The flat geometry enables efficient stacking for storage and transport.
- Pilikia Hoʻolālā
- The main challenge was achieving structural strength, ergonomic comfort and visual balance using only one sheet metal surface. Precise form development and bending geometry were required to ensure stability and load performance while maintaining minimal material use and a clean industrial aesthetic.

- Type: Product efficiency, manufacturing and aesthetic design research. Objective: Reduce production cost and logistics volume through a single-piece structure while meeting aesthetic expectations and ensuring a timeless design language. Method: Form studies, bending solutions and stacking scenarios. Results showed reduced complexity, improved transport efficiency, and extended product lifespan through replaceable upholstery.
- Hoʻoulu Manaʻo
- The design explores how maximum performance can be achieved with minimal material and simplified manufacturing. Inspired by a balance of structural clarity and refined geometry, the project translates these principles into a contemporary industrial context. A single continuous metal surface defines both form and function, while the contrast between metal and leather creates a warm yet precise seating experience.
- Ka Lōʻihi o ka Papahana
- The project started in October 2025 in Istanbul and was completed in February 2026. The design was developed as an independent individual project.
- Kaʻina Hana
- The leather cushion can be easily placed, removed or replaced, allowing color changes and maintenance over time. The curved metal form provides ergonomic support while the cushion enhances comfort. Stackable metal bodies simplify storage, handling and transportation, improving operational efficiency.
