Inspiración: When listening to Coldplay's first album, it suddenly occurred to me to look up the word "Parachute."

It seems that the name "parachute" comes combining the Italian "parare" (to protect) with the French "chute" (to fall).

I thought that was a rather fine name.
I tried to think of devices that protect against falling.
