The wood surface is polished and waxed to maintain its natural grain and delicate touch.
Dùbhlan Dealbhaidh: The challenge of this project is how to achieve the unification of product form and function from the perspective of Chinese characters. By dismantling the structure of Chinese characters and studying the semantic origin of Chinese characters, we gradually obtained the design basis. The assembly between the various parts of the product is also a challenge for us. We found a solution after learning from the tenon and tenon principle and mechanical balance research.
Rannsachadh: Combining traditional wisdom and creativity in design is a novel way to allow users to experience modern elements while feeling traditional cultural emotions. This lamp takes Chinese pictographs as a starting point, fully interprets the shape and meaning of light in Chinese characters and analyzes the needs of market users, and finally positions it as innovative, friendly, lightweight and economical.
