درباره Kinetic Chinese Characters تایپوگرافی متحرک
حروف چینی متحرک مجموعه‌ای از شانزده اثر تایپوگرافی متحرک است که بر پایه‌ی اجزای تشکیل‌دهنده‌ی حروف چینی خلق شده‌اند. هر اثر موضوعی متفاوت دارد و کاملاً از طریق برنامه‌نویسی رایانه‌ای و الگوریتم‌ها، با استفاده از نرم‌افزار Processing، تولید شده است. افزودن فناوری زایشی (جنریتیو) باعث می‌شود که خط زمانی ثابت پیشین حروف به امری متغیر تبدیل شود و نتایج غیرقابل‌پیش‌بینی گردند. هر اثر با یک مقاله‌ی کوتاه تحلیلی همراه است که از سنت آسیایی ارائه‌ی همزمان شعر و نقاشی پیروی می‌کند. این مجموعه نشان می‌دهد که چگونه طراحی متحرک می‌تواند بر حروف چینی به‌کار گرفته شود.

- In this project, integration of code to type and typography revealed that the originally fixed or invariable timeline has changed. Addition of the generative technology resulted in more rich work content and changed it to become unpredictable. With this, the creative technique of kinetic typography can be applied to Chinese characters and the kinetic design integrated with the characteristics of Chinese characters holds unlimited potential.

- 16 works were created based on the components of Chinese characters. The subjects of these works were all different and were made purely through computer programming and algorithms. Additionally, work appreciation essays were added to each work and this was derived from the Western culture where work appreciation essays are occasionally used for interaction and communication with the audience and the concept of “poetry and paintings having the same source” in Asian traditional art that presents poetry and paintings together.
