Sobre The Animal Backbone Interior de botiga

The Animal Backbone és l'interior d'una botiga situada a Xangai, dins d'un edifici històric que antigament va servir com a escorxador i que avui és un centre cultural i creatiu. L'espai ocupa 100 metres quadrats i està construït amb planxa metàl·lica, mirall i vidre. La distribució segueix el recorregut d'un gat en caminar, i un cercle divideix les zones interior i exterior. Portes i finestres permeten vistes entre les dues zones, mentre que a l'interior s'hi disposen escenes de sala d'estar, menjador, cuina i bany. El disseny convida a reflexionar sobre les persones i els animals que comparteixen la ciutat.

Respecting the tens of thousands of animal souls, we are always looking for a way to have a commemorative architecture, trying to make an icy building to echo the concrete, and to arouse the painful memories and facts of killing animals because of lust.
