關於 Noiseless 花瓶

《無聲》係一款手拉坯製作嘅陶瓷花瓶，專為長枝或大型植物而設計。造型以最簡約嘅線條塑造，用嚟平衡光同影嘅關係。表面保留素胎質感，觸感柔滑細膩，只喺內側施以透明釉。尺寸由60 x 60 x 110毫米到100 x 100 x 240毫米不等。每件作品都相當有分量，令長莖花卉能夠穩固企立。當多件花瓶並列擺放時，宛如一列列柱體，構成一組寧靜嘅單色群像，可以自由組合排列。

獨特屬性: Hand thrown heavy weight porcelain vase for long or big plants. Minimal design & design language. Inspiration comes from sunlight and the shadows cast from it. The surface is pure naked porcelain finish with baby skin texture.

設計挑戰: The challenge consisted of the difference between the first picture and reality.

研究: A study of simple, beautiful shapes, exploring the balance between light and shade. The aim was to pursue essential beauty without being distracted by decoration or color. An analog approach served as the source. Light of slightly different colors shines on both sides to accentuate the shadows and contours. Simple and beautiful shapes were formed by carving each of the wheel-thrown porcelain vases by hand. As a result, instead of accentuating the design with decorations and colors, a unique form was found. The characteristics of software do not influence it. It is as pure as it can get.
靈感: Being interested in how the form of an object is expressed by light and shadow the goal was to design a vase with a minimum of lines, carving out a balance between light and shade. The vases are arranged like columns. By leaving the flowers out of the vase, the path of creation for a monochrome silence was pursued. This creates freedom. Freedom in the arrangement of the vases and in the imagination in relation to the arrangement of the flowers.
項目時長: The project startet in February 2018 in Berlin
操作流程: The light and shadows soften the look of this vase and make it suitable for any place. It can also be set to engage with flowers. Made like a weight, this vase, especially with long-stemmed flowers, makes a big difference and gives the impression of deviating from the norm. What you have there is an experience that you can share with others.
