關於 Nausicaa 游艇

Nausicaa係一艘24米長嘅帆船遊艇,專為精簡船員配置嘅高性能巡航而設計。船體結構同桅杆索具全部採用碳纖維製造,運用夾層結構同環氧樹脂灌注工藝打造,令遊艇保持輕量化。纖幼嘅船體造型配合簡約嘅上層建築輪廓,賦予Nausicaa一種當代風格。大型船體側窗形成一道極具辨識度嘅線條,呢個設計元素亦喺室內空間中得以呼應。全船寬主人套房提供全景視野,並可直接私人通往沙灘區域。經過精心設計嘅甲板佈局,令少量船員都能夠輕鬆駕馭呢艘遊艇。

獨特屬性: This 24 meter light sailing yacht has a full carbon structure and rig, making her able to reach high level short hand performance cruising. The slender hull shape, and the very minimalistic superstructure profile give Nausicaa a modern and contemporary style, along with with its unique big hull window that confers a very recognizable line that is also reflected in interior spaces. The full beam master suite has panoramic views and direct private access to the yacht’s beach area.

生產技術: The design started from hand sketching and was followed by 2D drawings and 3D modelling. It was a very iterative process that finished with the result of the renders, 2D technical drawings and an engineering technical report. The construction technique for the actual yacht was calculated to be full carbon fiber and sandwich with epoxy infusion.
設計挑戰: One of the main challenges the team had to overcome was the different discipline backgrounds from its three members: product design, architecture and naval engineering. However, this challenge ended up being an strength that allowed the team to learn much more along the process and to obtain a very complete project. It was also particulary difficult to find the appropiate information about the materials and propulsion in order to achieve a environment-friendly yacht, which restricted the team options in that matter.
研究: The research was focused on yachts with the same lenght. The objective was to create a database to obtain main dimensions and design inspiration. The methodology used was creating a data spreadsheet, a cad comparison file and an inspiration moodboard. This data collection allowed the team to start from a solid base and develop further the technical and aesthetic design of the project. The research was fundamental for the results obtained.
靈感: The project ideas started from various iconic design references. The inspiration came from other yacht designs of similar lenghts and different design details from a variety of brands and products. Wally played an importan role for both the exterior and interior design: the 'terrace on the sea', the minimalistic exterior profile, the interior steps and furniture forms, among others. Pininfarina was also a great source of inspiration in terms of interior forms and details.

操作流程: The yacht project is born from the idea of allowing short hand sailing, something quite unusual in larger lengths. A well thought and studied deck layout and equipment is the key to this easy sailing feature. The beach area offers the possibility to use the last step from the cockpit as a seating bench and storage. Thanks to the teak extended along the sides it is possible to lean on and enjoy the fantastic terrace with views.
