Nina & Beni jẹ́ àga onígi líle tí ìrísí àwọn ẹ̀yà ọkọ̀ ojú omi onígi ṣe ìmísí rẹ̀. Àwọn pátákó igi méjì tí a fi èéfín omi gbóná tẹ̀ ni ó nà kọjá lórí ìjókòó náà, tí wọ́n kọ́kọ́ ṣiṣẹ́ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ẹsẹ̀, lẹ́yìn náà gẹ́gẹ́ bí ibi ìsinmi apá, tí wọ́n sì wá gba ìrísí tí ó bá agbègbè ẹ̀yìn ìsàlẹ̀ mu níkẹyìn. Igi ash, cherry, oak tàbí walnut láti inú àwọn igbó tí a ń tọ́jú lọ́nà alálòpẹ́ ni a fi ṣe àga náà, a sì fi àwọn òróró àti ìda adánidá parí rẹ̀. Àwọn olùborí Wúrà jẹ́ àwọn ẹ̀dá tó ní ìmúṣẹ̀dá tuntun gidigidi, tó ní ojú-ìwòye tó jìnnà tó sì ń tàn yòò tí wọ́n ń ṣàfihàn ọgbọ́n, òye àti ìjáfáfá àwọn olùṣàwòṣe wọn. A retí pé Nina & Beni Àga yóò jẹ́ ohun ìmúṣẹ̀dá tí a yìn gidigidi, tó ń gbé ìtẹ̀sí kalẹ̀ tó sì jẹ́ ìrántí tó ń mú iye tí a kò rí rí wá. Nina & Beni Àga ń dá ìmọ̀lára ìfẹ́ tó lágbára sílẹ̀, ń jí ìtara, ń gbé ìṣẹ̀dá lárugẹ tó sì ń fà wá mọ́ra.

- Àwọn Ohun Àkànṣe
- Two steam-bent strips cantilever over the seat to serve first as legs then armrest and finally mold to the lumbar area. The Nina & Beni chair is made from 100% sustainably sourced forests.

- Steam bending, solid wood, sustainable, chair design
- Ìmọ̀-ẹ̀rọ Ìṣelọ́pọ̀
- To achieve the complex geometry of the Nina & beni chair we use a 5 axis CNC to cut 2 molds which we then use to steam bend the solid wood strips to their form. We then use another set of cnc-cut counter molds to make the 3d lamination.
- Ìpèníjà Àpèsè
- The most difficult part was designing and building the 3 dimensional molds needed to build the chair.
- Ìwádìí
- Sustainability is my design objective.
I use wood because it is the best short carbon cycle material, the complex shapes are steam-bent so as to create as little waste as possible.
These pieces are made from quality materials and designed to last a lifetime. - Ìmísí
- Inspired by the efficient yet beautiful forms of wooden naval structures. Boat building achieves aerodynamic forms that take advantage of the trees grain with little waste.
- Àkókò Iṣẹ́ Àkànṣe
- This project started in September 2019, was exhibited at The Stockholm Furniture fair in January then at the London design fair in September
- Ìlànà Ìṣiṣẹ́
- Solid wood chair meant to last a lifetime
