Nípa Tubedex Ibudo Ọkọ̀ Akérò

Tubedex jẹ́ ibùdókọ̀ akérò tí a ṣe fún àwọn ìlú tí ó ti kọjá àsìkò iṣẹ́-ẹ̀rọ ńlá (post-industrial cities). Ìrísí rẹ̀ wá láti inú àwokòṣe àwọn paipu iṣẹ́-ẹ̀rọ, tí a sì fi hàn nípasẹ̀ àwọn ẹ̀yà tube yíyí tí a ti tú palẹ̀ (deconstructed). Irin aláìlẹ́gbin (stainless steel) tí a ti fọ̀ dán ni ohun èlò pàtàkì tí a lò, tí a fi àwọn olùsopọ̀ tí a dà (cast connectors) àti súkúrù kọ́ ara wọn pọ̀. Àwọn pátákó oòrùn (solar panels) tí ó wà lókè òrùlé ń pèsè agbára, nígbà tí àwọn iná LED tí ó wà lẹ́yìn dígí tí a fọ́n (frosted glass) ń tan ìmọ́lẹ̀ sí agbègbè ìdúró dúró. Àwọn olùborí Idẹ jẹ́ àwọn ohun èlò tó ní ìjáfáfá gan-an tí wọ́n sì ní ìṣẹ̀dá tó yani lẹ́nu tí wọ́n ń ṣe ẹ̀rí ìrírí gbígbòòrò, ìrònú àti ọgbọ́n àwọn olùṣàwòṣe wọn. Àwọn Ohun Àkànṣe: Tubedex, a new form of bus station, designed for post-industrial cities. Its uniqueness lies in the deconstructed expression of industrial circular tube elements in its appearance, trying to capture the extension and elegance of its shape semantics. The innovative eye-catching and beautiful interactive interface brings more transparent bus operation information to the public and gives more intuitive visual expression of information. Bring more innovative attempts to urban public facilities.

Àwọn Àkọlé: Bus Station, Interaction, Smart City, Modular, Quantitative
Ìmọ̀-ẹ̀rọ Ìṣelọ́pọ̀: We chose brushed stainless steel as the main material of Tubedex, which is strong and reliable, but also brings the unique texture of the metal reflected from different angles. Strong solar panels above the ceiling provide energy for the products, while a combination of luminous leds and frosted glass provide light for the citizens below. The whole product is divided into universal body parts and cast connectors and combined with screws to find a balance between economy and aesthetics.
Ìpèníjà Àpèsè: The challenge of our design is that we cannot find a reasonable way in it’s appearance which is satisfying in function at the beginning. After a certain number of sketching and discussing of our project, we finally find the proper selection which achieves the desired effect.
Ìwádìí: As the concept of smart cities continues to gain popularity, the Internet of Things has changed People's Daily lives. At present, major cities are actively promoting the wisdom of public transport systems, and improving the limitations of existing public transport systems has been developing towards universality. The existing bus service system has several problems waiting to be solved, such as rigid information transmission, opacity, and one-way interaction. The design team decided to re-explore the interactive value of bus stations in public space from the perspective of informatization, wisdom and art. That's the beginning of Tubedex.
Ìmísí: The shape of Tubedex is inspired by the industrial pipes that can be seen everywhere in post-industrial cities. Inspired by the epitome of this urban cultural symbol, we try to preserve the traces and memories of industrial city clusters and try to eliminate the bad stereotypes inherent in traditional industrial cities. The main color of the interactive interface is bold red, ensuring recognition while conforming to the color inspiration of bravery, aggressiveness and efficiency.
Àkókò Iṣẹ́ Àkànṣe: The project started in February 2025 in LAFA Communal Facility Design Studio and finished in March 2025 in National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Industrial Design in LAFA.
Ìlànà Ìṣiṣẹ́: Tubedex's interactive interface is divided into standard screen and 16:9 screen. The standard provides real-time data such as time, weather and full load rate. According to the passenger density data of each vehicle and passenger data of each platform, the data is counted and sorted under the strategy of smart city, and the expected arrival full load rate is finally calculated for visual presentation. The 16:9 screen combines the first two. Information classification is sorted according to the importance of the user journey, achieving a complete logic from user needs to information transfer to entity interaction.
