- By showing the laminated plywood on the seat, we left the warmth of the wood. It can be assembled without using metal fittings
- Ìpèníjà Àpèsè
- I had a hard time deciding the angle of my legs. Since the overall balance changes depending on the angle, I adjusted it little by little with the mockup.
- Ìwádìí
- Japanese houses have small floor plans and little space for furniture, so I researched furniture to put in a small space. Since chairs take up space in furniture, it was a new proposal by giving the backrest multiple functions of lighting.
- Ìmísí
- Due to the epidemic of the new coronavirus, the amount of time spent at home has increased. I designed a chair with integrated lighting for reading books in order to enrich my time alone. This work was inspired by performers who were spotlighted on stage. Because it was similar to reading a book with a light in a dark room. It turns on and off in the dark in response to people. The blinking appearance looks like a firefly that emits a fantastic and gentle light. I named it Hotaru in Japanese.
